"The Palestin-ian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestin-ian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestin-ians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestin-ian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct 'Palestin-ian people' to oppose Zionism.
"For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa. While as a Palestin-ian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palest-ine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palest-ine and Jordan."
--Zahir Muhsein, PLO executive committee member, March 31, 1977, interview in Dutch newspaper Trouw

Straight from the camel's mouth, as it would be said.

Yasser Arafat said that too after the infamous Oslo accords were signed.
The land in which Israel resides today, is considerd a general part of: "Bilad el Sham" which means: greater Syria.
Since this strip of land was a part of the Damascus province in the Ottoman empire.

"greater Syria" Sounds a bit like "greater germany" to me.

Precisely, and there is another thing, the "Ba'athist" party (the syrian ruling party) is realy called: "The Pan-Arabic National Socialist Party", a fact which makes one wonder: "Kids, can you tell me, what other party in human history, was called the "National-Socialist Party" ?(Hint: NAZIS).
-
"Pan-Arabic National Socialist Party" hmm, they've missed out the workers part...
(National Socialist German workers party)
-
If anyone is interested, here is a map of Greater Syria, according to the second-largest political party in Syria, the Syrian Social Nationalist Party:

Pretty close to what we call: "greater Israel".
-
If I were you I'd avoid the term "greater Israel", it will lead to people associating you with the nazis.
-
You say this is straight out of the camels mouth but he is trying to use it as an advantage unifying the arab states and explaining the struggle against Israel isn't that of a so-called palestinian people but the enture ARAB NATION.

The point is, our news media will have us believe that there is a p-lestinian people, and that there should be a p-lestinian state.
-
There is a people be they called palestinian, jordanian, egyptians or not. They were the people living in the British mandate time along with the Jews, quite peacefully. Until nationalism kicked in.
However ftf you are right it leads to a matter of deception especially with the concept of a state.

A lot of the land that is now contested was uninhabited back then... It was a waste land, the Jews have made it into a fertile paradise.
-
And built a beautiful landscape of buildings.

You know what?! lets redefine that term, it will be called "The Promised borders of thr promised Land".
Sounds better?
-
How about just "True Israel" or "Real Israel".
-
Fine by me.
-
All the arab states are BOGUS. syria, jordan , saudi arabia et al... are simply artificial inventions of the otoman and Brittish empires. All of those people are the same bunch of nomadic stinking, camel-raping sand apes that ran amuck with uncle Mo' 1400 years ago.

Actually, they did not live peacefully with their Jewish neighbors. Even before Israel's independence in 1948, the Arabs conducted several pogroms against the Jews.

Oh come on, Sarah. You cannot be serious. "Quite peacefully?" What were these, friendship pogroms?

Well it was written in the book i just read......and i do believe that the relationship between arabs and jews in those times weren't THAT bad.
-
Which book did you just read?
Look at those links that OdKahaneChai just posted.
-
Yes, ftf but i was relating to the ruling of the Jews and Arabs under the turks, it was very peaceful............after the first formations of jewish nationalism-zionism and arab nationalism in the early 1900, everything turned chaotic.
-
Meh... in the Ottoman empire, they were only nice to us because they needed us. We ran all of the commerce - do you think a bunch of Hajis could run an economy? And they weren't always nice to us either - there were major massacres of Jews three times in the 17th Century.
-
They may not believe in their actual Western rhetoric about historic rights to a Palestinian homeland, but after all their Illiterate, Bum-of-a-Prophet was a liar, aggressor, rapist etc...
Didn't care about FACTS ! He believed and cared about JEHAD ! Mass annihilation to meet His objective of making this world as insane and hellish as his own Misery !
The TERRORISTS don't Care whether Israel technically belongs to them ! They don't care about anything except sacrifice in the name of CERTAIN DEATH !
They all want to DIE and we should grant them their Wish !! No holes BARRED...let em have It !
