This is one of the things I find the hardest. The fact that God is ALWAYS watching us, means that he has seen all of our mistakes/sins and after a while some people lose their shame in trying to prevent these sins as its almost like "God has seen it all before."
I think people who are constantly God fearing understand things that we do not.
Sometimes we are ashamed in case relatives or other people find out about bad things we've done, when in fact we have caused ourselves the most humiliation in the eyes of God.

I think G-d has more important things to do than watch every second of my boring life. Oh look he's having breakfast, okay on the subway going to work, sitting there at work configuring a computer network, on the subway again going home this time, oh, he's online typing on a message board... ;D

Lol. ;D
Not literally perhaps....just the fact he knows whats in your heart and your intentions when more interesting events occur.
You can be accountable for more sins/good deeds then you probably realise. Small everyday actions do lead to results......results that could be beneficial to others or even disadvantage people.

G-d has no limitations, He is soo great that he knows and is involved in everything to the tiniest detail. Maybe with some Reshaiim He cuts them off from being attached to him, but this still would be completly impossible becuase if soo they would cease to exist.
One of G-d's names is Hama-kom. ( the place). We are in G-d soo to speak and not the other way around. Meaning that our Vast Universe is in G-d which is infinity and not G-d creating something and being completly outside of it and once in a while paying a visit.
-
To the poll question- Yes, allthough sometimes when I involve myself in having to be focused in a secular study I might not allways remeber G-d every second.
Its a great Mitzva to be glued to G-d so to speak - Devekuk to Hashe-m. You have to be glued like crazy glue. - What helps bring this process? Prayer, learning Torah and doing his Mitzvot.

Even though God is in this Universe, he is completely outside of its limitations like time etc
Tzvi, if God has planned everything beforehand and knows the outcomes and whats to happen, then why does he watch over us in the meantime?

You missed my point. The Universe is in G-d and not G-d in the universe. Read my post again- Its then a given that G-d has no limitations, but our Universe which is one of many Worlds to infinity, is limited according to the rules set by G-d.
About your question- good question but I dont have an answer right now (+ im in a rush making a report) maybe some else can give you a good answer.

agreed 100%

Yes, I always have the idea that G-d is omnipresent in the back of my mind.
-
- In addition to Prayer, Torah study and Mitzvot one has to see G-d directing the World in everything. You have to know that G-d is constantly sending you message threw everything. You have to interpret them correctly and implement them unto yourself- the way to know what G-d wants from you and how you interpret them is having to know His Will which is clearly written in his instructions Torot ( Torah's) Both Written and Oral.
I would highly recommed the book "The Garden Of Emuna" which can be purchased at
http://www.lazerbrody.typepad.com/ (less then $20 with free shipping) available in a number of languages.

Gd is in everything...every atom, every proton, every neutron every electron every quark every quark within a quark every ok you get the idea...
Therefore every thing we say, every movement we do, everything we are about to do will ahve some sort of consequence because Gd made the universe so perfect.

On top of that, G-d made the World perfect, by not making it "perfct" so to speak. After creating nature etc. He said "and it was Tov ( good), except when He created man. - the point is that Man has to make himself perfect (something G-d wanted) and one of the Explanations of "let us make man" is that each person has to contine in that process of making a man out of himself.

What? if you are truthful Sarah theres not problem, its never hard when you know you are pure in your intentions. And you are true to god.
Only the guilty and non believers have fear.
God is like a father he is there to protect and guide us, how could he ever hurt is own children.
I have nothing to hide from him.
Pfft. ::)

Their arent different gods, or different parts of G-d, their is just One G-d, the G-d of Avraham Yitzhak and Yakov (Israel).

I refer to false gods like allah the moon god.You do understand? ::)

Tzvi, if G-d has planned everything beforehand and knows the outcomes and whats to happen, then why does he watch over us in the meantime?
G_d doesn't plan EVERYTHING in advance.
According to Torah, some things he pre-ordains and are inevitable. Other things depend entirely on us because he gave us free choice.

But does he know what we are going to choose, without affecting our choice?

God WJ! :)
There is only One God, who is the creator of everything. Its not a matter of which God since there is only one and I believe in Him.
I never used to worship any moon God. I have always believed in the same God as Abraham did and the God that created Adam.
The Infidel, yes as long as ones honest then they should have nothing to hide. Though there are acts which require other qualities other then honesty, such as having respect or manners for someone else etc
Its not like little kids remember God's watching them sneak the last cookie in the tin.
:)
-
But allah was the name of the moon god long before, mohammad came along. That is a fact.I do believe some worship allah without understanding the way mohammad came up with a name for his false god. There is only one God ,but today in our multicultural societies, one must be sure.Do you get what I mean? There are false gods which some refer to as god.
Sincerely, :)
Wayne Jude

He doesn't affect our choice. G_d gave us the gift of free will and he'd NEVER take that away. Whether he knows how we'll exercise our free will five years from now??? Good question for Lubab.

Actually in the general sense yes, but also one does in a way looses his keys to his free choice once the negative action is repeated over and over again - then one needs to find his keys again and work on making a full Tishuva.
