*While any response is appreciated, I'd prefer a response from Chaim. Thanks!*
I'm not trying to insult JTF or patriotic people in general. I'm asking this because the liberals believe this to be true and so they are telling the truth as they see it (i.e. from their perspective, not an objective perspective) when they denounce the Minutemen and the Kahanists as fascists. If not, then what is fascism?
Note: You can use the Israeli government as an example but I'd prefer it if you would explain what you meant when you use that insult!

No.
Being extremely concerned with home defense doesn't make you a burgler!

Too much patriotism can lead to jingoism and xenophobism in an indiscriminate fashion..

Fascism is subordinating the needs of the individual in favor of the needs of the state. Mussolini's extreme nationalism=fascism. Hitler's socialism=fascism
-
No, I am very heavy with nationalist ideas and practice, and no way do I believe in fascism.
-
I think it is one thing to simply be proud of where you come from.
And another thing if you are proud of where you come from because your nation/region performed Tikun Olam.
I would prefer the latter.

I tend to agree with this statement.
I also believe that while it's ok to be proud of where you are from, and love your country etc. those who are "extreme nationalists" are usually described as extreme because it is not so much that they love their countries...it is that they combine their love of their country with hate for everyone else.

Re: "...Fascism is subordinating the needs of the individual in favor of the needs of the state. Mussolini's extreme nationalism=fascism. Hitler's socialism=fascism..."
This is an inadequate and flawed "definition", because it is only a description of one of Fascism's characteristics.
"Fascism, might best be defined as corporatism"...Benito Mussolini, founder of Fascism.
Fascism is a system where the government and corporations are joined together, presiding over a military-industrial complex.
Under Fascism, the individual exists only at the whims of the State, and only to serve the State, but there is no citizenship based on race, as is found in National Socialism.
Mussolini, who was very much an intellectual, often said that Hitler's model for government was just a dictatorship with no real structure or ideas other than delusional racist theories.
Extreme nationalism per se has no relationship to any one political structure.
In closing, a quote from one of America's Founding Fathers...
"Religion and Politics, are always the final refuge of a scoundrel."
-Samuel Adams

Too much patriotism can lead to jingoism and xenophobism in an indiscriminate fashion..
There is no such thing as being too patriotic.
I love my country, hate my government.

Loving one's country is just fine..I have no problem with that.
I'm talking about to the point where some people who get too patriotic become blind to the fault's of his/her country...and then hates all other countries except his/her own..and then hates it when strangers from other countries want to move to one's own country...

We kahanists have to just enforce the laws. Thats it, no extremes. Because the way were going, it seems the torah is too extreme now.
Yes but Torah should only be enforced in Israel or for Jews. We have no right to call America a Jewish country because it is not, we are in exile therefore we must abide by the laws of the land as long as they do not conflict with our own.

Yes very respectful!

Patriotism is fine.
Blind unconditional support for every single action of your countries government or people is not.
You may love your siblings but if they steal or cheat another person you should be critical of them.
