This weekend is the anniversary of my Bar Mitzvah to the day. On Saturday, November 3rd, I had the Bar Mitzvah, on Sunday November 4th, was the reception. The year I had it was in 1984 on the same date and day. It just fell out on the same days this year.

You're 36? You act like a teenager or someone in their early 20's, especially when we talk about women.
36 wow cool.
Congrats Joe.

I was born on July 14, 1971. I didn't have my Bar Mitzvah in July because my rabbi went on vaction all summer and there wasn't another rabbi to preside on my bar Mitzvah.

I don't know. That was the last time I was there.

What is your birthdate? I can look up the real Hebrew date for you. My sister was born on October 31, 1984 and the Hebrew date was 5 Cheshvan. Your Bar Mitzvah was on 8 Cheshvan, 5745. That fell out on Shabbat, October 20. So your Hebrew anniversary also falls out the same day of the week.
So is November 3rd the anniversary of the parshah that he had or his parshah was on November 3rd that year so he's referring to a cooresponding anniversary from the English calendar?
