Take warning from New Zealand, says Rev Fred Nile
Leader of Australia’s Christian Democratic Party, Rev the Hon Fred Nile LTh ED MLC has warned Australians that an official attempt to deny New Zealand’s status as a “Christian nation” could be replicated in Australia.
Reverend Nile was commenting in a report in the Waikato Times of 29 May 2007, dealing with the Asia Pacific Interface Dialogue, opened by Prime Minister Helen Clark. The Waikato Times states that the New Zealand delegation will formerly adopt a statement of religious diversity which states inter alia that New Zealand is not a Christian nation.

Today (Tuesday) at noon NZ time, 4,000 Christians led by Bishop Brian Tamaki of the Destiny Churches of New Zealand conducted a protest outside the venue, the Copithorne Hotel in Waitangi.
“New Zealand and Australia enjoy a similarly proud Christian heritage”, said Reverend Nile. “Both nations tolerate the behaviour of minorities who promote a doctrine of moral equivalence as part of their campaigns against Christianity, and the anti-Christian elements in New Zealand now appear to enjoy official support. Both New Zealand and Australian are Christian nations, which recognise minority religions.”
“I commend the efforts of New Zealand Christians in resisting all official attempts to strip New Zealand of its status as a Christian nation,” said Reverend Nile. “And I caution Australians to be wary of anti-Christian attitudes among Federal and State parliamentarians and bureaucrats in Australia.”
Reverend Nile concluded: “God defend New Zealand!”.

Yes thats right because the Maoris don't believe in god, only their great x20 grand Mothers jaw bone :::D
-
The Maoris around the area I used to live in were pretty devoted Christians and some were Zionist. I also saw a TV show a year or so ago about a Maori/islanded Christian march from one end of NZ to the other where many of them were carrying Israeli flags. Perhaps it's just the minority.

Yes it is. Most are pagans in their beliefs. But the ones that convert are quite over the top.
-
Well if by over the top it means that they're real Christian Zionists than good on em for being over the top!

Well that the thing they are not, they only sway to what passing fade is to another. They are not true to anything. Only reason why they are supporting Israel because the Green movement is anti. When they find they can't get any more mileage from it they find a new issue to carry on with.
Understanding their culture is the key. What yours is theirs and whats theirs is their own.
They are false as Ray Martins Hair.

Why are they anti-Green?
-
Why are they anti-Green?
No the green movement is anti Israel they have members with contections to Hamas
-
Why are the Maoris anti-Green?
-
Why are the Maoris anti-Green?
Because they can't get land rights and steal land if its made into a state park
-
I thought the greens were all into giving back land to the indigenous populations and all that?
-
They only want to give back the reclaimed land they double cross the Maoris over it :::D
Greens want to extend of state parks, this doesn't go down well.
The greens also want Maoris to stop hunting the Kiwi bird, but this is another point Maoris are fighting over.
The Greens are commies the Maoris made a pack with the devil and they lost. Only thing I agree with the reds over was removing Maoris access to crown land. ^-^
-
I'd support the Maoris over the greens any day of the week.

Got to check this dude out Nandor Tanczos.

Watch a current affair tomorrow at 6:30, there's a "special" about Aussies and how they feel about the muslims in this country. I know its crap tabloid television but it should be interesting nevertheless.

Cool thanks for that, I never watch normal telly anymore, solely on Foxtel. But I will make sure I look at that.
