"It seems to me that you're hypocritical when you say that Holocaust Deniers should be killed. As I recall, you yourself denied that the Nazis targeted the Gypsies as they targeted Jews and Serbs while also denying the 5 million Gentile victims who died alongside the 6 million Jewish victims. I'd like to think that you have good intentions even when you're misguided but this denial seems almost as bad as someone taunting JTF by saying 'Adolf Hitler zt"l'.
Regards,
Hidden Author"

Scum.
-
who is this Clown?
-
He's a troll who asks Chaim critical questions on ASK JTF and never contributes to the forum.
-
He has made a few posts here and there.
Lately he made some more legitimate-sounding posts, but he also asked Chaim a bunch of questions about masturbation.
-
I think that Hidden Author is the Eeyore of JTF.
-
So I'm scum? Look the Holocaust was one of the worst things to happen to humanity--with that said, why shouldn't the memory of the Gentile victims receive the same honor and respect as the memory of the Jewish victims? Perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned Adolf Hitler but Chaim himself says that those who minimize the Holocaust are in effect supporters of Hitler!

The hidden author is annoying, no doubt.

How is saying that the Nazis didn't target gypsies the same way they targeted Jews for extermination 'minimizing the Holocaust'?
It is a HISTORICAL FACT that the events collectively known as the 'Holocaust' were aimed at and committed primarily against Jews.
I fail to understand how repeating that fact constitutes minimizing the Holocaust. Perhaps it is you who is 'minimizing the Holocaust' by equating the two.
For the record, here are my 'sources', you imbecilic piece of self-hating drek:
Weissman, Gary. Fantasies of Witnessing: Postwar Attempts to Experience the Holocaust, Cornell University Press, 2004, ISBN 0801442532, p. 94: "Kren illustrates his point with his reference to the Kommissararbefehl. 'Should the (strikingly unreported) systematic mass starvation of Soviet prisoners of war be included in the Holocaust?' he asks. Many scholars would answer no, maintaining that 'the Holocaust' should refer strictly to those events involving the systematic killing of the Jews'."
Niewyk, Donald L. The Columbia Guide to the Holocaust, Columbia University Press, 2000, p.45: "The Holocaust is commonly defined as the murder of more than 5,000,000 Jews by the Germans in World War II."
# "Holocaust," Encyclopaedia Britannica, 2007: "the systematic state-sponsored killing of six million Jewish men, women, and children and millions of others by Nazi Germany and its collaborators during World War II. The Germans called this "the final solution to the Jewish question" (emphasis added).
"Holocaust", Encarta: "Holocaust, the almost complete destruction of Jews in Europe by Nazi Germany and its collaborators during World War II (1939-1945). The leadership of Germany’s Nazi Party ordered the extermination of 5.6 million to 5.9 million Jews (see National Socialism). Jews often refer to the Holocaust as Shoah (from the Hebrew word for “catastrophe” or “total destruction”)."
Paulson, Steve. "A View of the Holocaust", BBC: "The Holocaust was the Nazis' assault on the Jews between 1933 and 1945. It culminated in what the Nazis called the 'Final Solution to the Jewish Question."

I'm ignorant? I'm not the one who confused Hidden Author with a self-hating Jew! When you're as great as Hidden Author, it's almost impossible to be self-hating! (I'm a Gentile for those who wish to know...)
You didn't prove that the Gypsies were not massacred like Jews. All you proved was that the term 'Holocaust' is used to describe the massacre of Jews but not the parallel massacre of Gypsies!

'All I proved' was that there was no Holocaust against gypsies as you claim.
You're not allowed to change your premises during the argument, Plato.
You accused Chaim of minimizing the Holocaust. That statement that you made was fundamentally proven false by me.
You are a complete and utter fool who can't hold an argument.
-
No you didn't. You didn't prove that the Gypsies weren't massacred. All your sources was that out of all the massacres committed by the Nazis, only the massacre of the Jews was referred to as a Holocaust. But that doesn't mean that other peoples were not victims of genocide--only that the term "Holocaust" refers specifically to the genocide against the Jews.

You argued that the Gypsies were victims of the Holocaust and by Chaim not mentioning that, you implied that he was somehow minimizing the Holocaust. That is why I showed you that the gypsies were not victims of the Holocaust and that you were the one in fact minimizing the Holocaust.
The pogrom of genocide of the gypsies is a separate argument and one that I am not knowledgeable enough to discuss in detail. If you feel you want to argue that they were victims of the Holocaust, then feel free to do so. If you want to argue that Chaim is wrong for only mentioning Jews when he talks about the Holocaust, then you are clearly misinformed.
