I actually feel bad for the guy.  Clearly he made a very stupid mistake and thank G-d that no one was killed.

That being said, he stayed calm and told the children, "see how easily accidents can happen."

This is absurd.  "How to shoot yourself in the foot and get millions for it..."   ::)

Rule Number One of gun safety: Your gun isn't unloaded until you take the magazine out and expel the chamber. He performed neither of those basic safe gun handling actions.

Wrong. He's the only one licensed to carry. As for professional . . .

They are lowering the standards for all the police and fire departments all over. There will be thousands of these creatures that will guard and protect us. These creatures should only be placed in da hood areas where they can guard and protect their fellow primitives. They will also be able to communicate better with the indigineous population since they share the common tongue of ebonics.

It happened because while he was lecturing the children, he stepped in front of a full-length mirror, caught his own reflection in the corner of his eye, and instinctively opened fire at the sight of a "drug dealer and rapist"!
