Title: Polar bear vs Siberian Tiger
Post by: The Shadow on November 21, 2007, 10:25:08 PM
Which would win the polar bear or siberian tiger?   I put my money on a the polar bear.  The male polar bears can approach 2000 pounds, while the heaviest Siberian tiger weighs in at around 900 pounds.  Also polar bears have no problem killing a 4000 pound giant walrus

Walruses are slower on land and their only real weapon they have are those tusks of theirs.

Have any of you heard of Knut the polar bear cub, who was born in the Berlin zoo this past December.  He was rejected by his mother, and the people at the zoo hand reared him.  A German "animal rights" activist said it was totally wrong to hand rear a polar bear, and that they should have put him to sleep.  Luckily the people at the zoo didn't listen, and Knut is almost a year old now.

Some 'animal rights' activists they turned out to be.

Polar bear easily.

It would be like a cat fighting a rottweiler.

Knut was absolutely precious as a polar bear cub.  And he's still cute now.
