Here's an interesting look at Detroit's predominantly-Jewish neighborhood back in the 1950s and how their absence meant the beginning of the downward spiral for America's Motor City.

Why is that? Why is it when Jews move into an area the area flourishes with fancy shops, restaurants, housing developments etc.... The shvugs move in, then you see gun stores, liquor stores and check cashing. In other words they just simply kill areas. Maybe there's something to segregation!
