I say yes. I understand that Chaim wants all Jews to make aliyah and live in their homeland, but I think it is different when Gentiles say that, even if they profess to support JTF. I get very suspicious. This spring, we had a number of Whorefront spammers pretending to be JTF supporters who made that very argument. More recently, in a discussion on Ron Nazi Paul, there were people saying that same thing, some of whom supported Paul.
I don't think any Gentiles have the right to say where Jews should live, under any circumstances. It is up to them to make aliyah if that is how they feel led.

Aye here too 8;)

There's a difference between saying that "all Jews should go to Israel" and "all Jews belong in Israel". The latter is more acceptable...
-
I agree with Yacov, there are gentiles who are trying to support Judaic principles and want Jews to be more religious. On the other hand however there are those who simply hate Jews and want them out.
Either way, Jews do belong in Israel and anything, (other than physical assault) that gets Jews to Israel is good.
-
I would say no, in all honesty because all Jews should WANT to live in Israel. If all the Jews in the world cared for Israel since the Balfour Declaration and applied the amount of respect they have for their deformed synagoges and their comedy sit-com's there would be no Jordan today, it would ALL be Eretz Yisrael.
If the Jews actually wanted to live in Israel, the Sinai would be part of Israel today with Jewish development.... The Jews have, and I'm sorry to say this, per capita....the best of the best and the worst of the worst.....comparitively speaking.... :'(
-
it depends how they say it.
-
I think this is an intern Jewish issue.
-
it depends how they say it.
Very true. Never thought of it that way. You are absolutely right. I guess I was attacking this question from a purely Jewish point of view...
-
Yes and no, it does depend on how they say it, But they shouldn't say it either way because its not their business.

This is one area where I completely agree with you. We have no right to tell Jews where to live.

I like living in the US, why would I relocate especially with the political situation right now? Israel is very secular and liberal.

I thought your not Jewish anyway, sorry if I am mistaken, but int your mom not Jewish?
-
You can't have this one both ways. If the ideal homeland is Israel, gentiles should say that.
My stance is this...Zionists should be in Israel, just like Russian Nationalists should be in Russia, and Irish Nationalists should be in Ireland. If for whatever reason a Jew cannot bring himself to accept Zionism, then maybe he/she shouldn't be.

Uh what? My mother converted to Judaism and then married my father.
-
I don't think you can tell based on this.
Some anti-Jew people may want Jews to go to Israel, but no pro-Jew person wants Jews to assimilate. In a universal fashion, I reject the idea of assimilation as a honorable concept altogether, also when dealing with non-Jewish nationalities. I oppose, for instance, the EU, as a destructive force against the diversity of Europe, and limitation of healthy nationalism. I think to not encourage Jews to stay Jewish, and the only way they will stay Jewish is by going to Israel, is to not care about Jews.
-
I am not Jewish.
My understanding is that according to the Bible (and to various Orthodox commentators I've heard, such as Chaim), all Jews should live in the land of Israel. However, if someone chooses not to, that's something between that Jew and God. It's not really my business.
I would never say "Jews don't belong here" or anything like that. That's ridiculous and given history, disgusting. Selfishly, I love having Jews live in the USA. They've been a tremendous benefit to this country over the years. I love Jewish culture and every now and then I think about moving to Israel myself ;-)

Thats like saying all Irish go back to Ireland ,Brits to Britian ,Poles to Poland Germans to Germany, you all get the picture my Mothers family has been here since1836 my fathers since 1890. What happens if one parent the mother is Jewish the child is Jewish and the Fathers not what should the child do?

Whatever s/he wants to. It is their right to either stay in their birth country or make aliyah to Israel.
-
Well the Bible says that the Jews should be in Israel and when righteous gentiles are saying this they're doing it because they know it to be the word of God. Is it any less important when a righteous gentile causes a Jew to make aliyah by stating the word of God?
-
It depends on whether or not they do it out of Anti-Semitic purposes.
1 So , I am a Belgian / Flemish & Catholic.
I hate immigrants with criminal anti-european behaviour (marrokkkans, arabs, some blacks)
2 I am 999,99% pro -Israel, I wish the Israeli State is a state for Jews only, I endorse the expulsion of Arabs in the little and to-establish-Greater-Israel,
I like Jews, because they are the most intelligent people, who are I don not know how much % over-represented in science, music, ... you name it,... I wish the very best of them to live in a country where they have a 100% majority-status.
I want the al-aqsa to be destroyed, and the Third Temple to build.
2 so I think I am not a Jew-hater.
That doesn't mean I am a moslimlover.
On the contrary , I am a true, obsessive MuSSlim-hater. I hope a full-scale war starts, and that we can destroy their willingness to even ever think about doing jihad, to even ever dare to read a letter out of the book of kkkoran.
Some rare muslims are OK, if they would convert to Christianity, I would accept them in my borders (only if they are politically persecuted, NOT ECONOMICAL IMMIGRANTS!!!!!!!!!)
but a lot of them are just evil, hateful, satan's people, that I don't want i my country, regardless of the fact that they would convert to my beliefs. Because i don't belief devils can convert unless some miracle happens.
I do know some people , algerians, albanians, turks, are almost impossible to convert, because they hate us,
THEY ARE RACISTS!! that killed the French, the Serbs, the Armenians, the Jews,....
3 How about the fact that I want to expel all nazi-africans and nazi-muslims out of Europe?
Will my hate against african and muslim people make me suspicious in your eyes?
My 'racism' is a defensive one, I want to protect my country from being conquered and mass-forcibly-converted to Nazisslam.
I hate Ganster-rap, I hate prostitution, i hate abortion, i hate parents of illegitimate children (not the children themselves)
I hate lazy people, i hate drus-abusers, i hate burglars, thieves, rapists, pedophiles, murederers.....
I hate Economical-Muslim-Profitariat.
i hate muslims that try to tell ME, they belief in Christ, and that they are the 'newest form of "monotheistic" faith'
I hate muslims that tell me Israeli are nazis and racists, and that the settlers in the west-bank are like the Nazi-murderers in the concentration camps.
I hate the media and elites of this country that are imposing anti-discrimination-laws that are designed to restrict all forms of free speech.
i hate the left-wing that abuse the Holocaust for letting in ever more anti-semitic and anti-european economical nazimmigrants.
So do I qualify to tell Jews that I know , that they should become religious again and go to Israel?
I assume that is what the Thora demands.
***********************************
Yeah, muslim-people, I know what you think when you read this!
You think i am a psycho, evil person, who never reads the Bible, and that I am not intellectually capable to understand you "holy book".
And you wish me love and hapiness...
Well, god willing, I'll salami-al-gharlic you in your stupid backward mud-hole-countries!
And no there is no relation between your allah and our God.
Your allah & m'chmd is a evil pagan cult, that will be rooted out soon.

Are Gentiles who say all Jews should leave their country and go to Israel anti-Semites?
I voted "no idea"
-
I voted yes that it is anti-semitic. In other words, when people tell me I belong in Israel or I should go to Israel, it means I am not welcome here in America. No one has the right to tell me where to move. I grew up with American culture. Everytime I speak with a anti-semite, the first thing they say is "Go move to Israel, so we can lump you all together and Iran can finally give us a final solution once and for all".
-
Mord, remember that I am not saying ALL Jews should be forced to Israel, only that Jewish Nationalists should logically be encouraged to go to Israel. Lawrence Auster, for example, is a person who I respect for his right wing views, but he unfortunately has given up Judaism. Someone like that is not a Jewish Nationalists, and should probably stay in America. I am in the situation you described in terms of ancestry.
-
Religious Jews tell me that righteous gentiles should urge Jews to make Aliya, but I have a problem with it. I'm not comfortable (as a gentile) telling Jews where to live. I also don't want our country to lose it's best and brightest.
-
Supporting Jews, and being too timid to criticize Jews do not have to go together. Maybe some Jews would be offended by this, but sometimes people get offended (I can't see why if your words are chosen carefully), and that is sort of the way it goes.

the Jews who get offended when they are criticized for not living in Israel are the ones who don't want to move to Israel and in the end they will die out, just like the Jews that stayed in Egypt.
-
Well, I'd probably pat the person on the back for he has just admitted to me that it is OUR land! ;)
