You forgot to put reggaeton on that list >:( >:( >:( :D

What do you class as Ethnic music?
Borat music
Borat was done by a self hating Jew and was the most anti semeitc movie I have ever seen.
Jewish Regge rocks
Shlock Rock
Matisyahu
Also Can't forget Bon Jovi
-
Hip Hop/ Rap Noise... has to be the worst offender to ALL Mankind.
-
Alternative, Hard Rock but mostly I HATE RAP!
-
So far everybody hates rap.
Maybe you have to be an ape or a retarded white teenager to like it.
-
Hmm, I like some music from most genres, the closest to an exception to this is rap, I can think of only one rap "song" I like: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ymLJz3N8ayI
-
Men singing gay songs.
-
only 3? How am I to select which ones I hate most?
-
Men singing gay songs.
Of all of the rappers that I had unfortunately gotten to know, Ja Rule was the very worst. He did not have the voice for singing, yet he kept making these effeminate bubble-gum pop songs in which his attempt at singing sounded as if he were getting raped.
-
heavy metal.
Why do so few people have any decent taste?
-
Men singing gay songs.
Michael Jackson, UMM HMM!
That's an elementary school comment with very little validity.
Michael Jackson himself is a queer and incredibly evil. But a song like "Billie Jean" is not a "gay" song.

Michael Jackson is a man!!!!?!?!?!? Thats news to me!

Rap by far. If I could vote for a second place it would be R & B or bubblegum oldies.
-
Definitely rap, alternative and middle eastern.
Some R&B is some of the best music around! R&B from the 50s and 60s was fantastic music. Of course the R&B of today is garbage. Most alternative (which I associate to be typical radio rock and MTV rock) is absolute garbage. I actually like lots of reggae, the fact that it's made by schvartzas doesn't really bother me although I don't listen to it often. Bob Marley has some of the best tunes ever!
How can anyone hate ethnic music? There's something for everyone! Russian, klezmer, Brazilian, Romanian, gypsy, even bluegrass there are so many fantastic kinds of ethnic music.
Middle eastern (arabic music) is probably the worst music on the planet. I would almost rather listen to rap than arabic music, as hard as that it so say.
-
Rap. (Except for Weird All yankovic, 'Amish paradise' is pure gold)
OOohmm pah pah music (aka Mexican ranchero music with a tuba in the background)
Any kind of folk music from any country.
-
I hate the rap the most even though some of the big name rap music groups such as Wu Tang Clan support Israel and have shown this in their lyrics...
I don't promote any music that endorses violence unless it is in self defense..
-
You have good taste Mills!
-
Billy Ray Cyrus, the biggest abomination in the history of music.

call me a self-hating Jew, Gd forbid, but I happen to like the middle eastern and Arabic sounding music...I'm not talking about the mosque music "alllllllllawwwwww akkkbaaaaaaaaaaaar it is hawwwwwwwwwwwwwwt...jiiiiiiiiiiiiiiihhhhhhhhhhhwwwwwaaaaaaad alllllllllllaaaaaaaaaa we like camel dawwwwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnng."

Of course , Western Music is something completely different than the music of the Jews 2000 years ago.
By voting Middle Eastern I meant Arabian, I hate them a little bit, and so I also start to hate the Arabian language,
that's why, as long it is instrumental I can live with it.
Normally I hate M.E. music, and especially Turks and Arabs who drive around with luxury cars and put the volume up so the whole street can hear their camel songs...
I do think that it should be forbidden to loudly play arab music in Europe ( car sound system, 'headphones' you can hear 10 m far, or now, the latest gadgets ; mobile phones they use to terrorise the people on the busses in Belgium)

the truth is, by Islamic decree, these people playing any type of music would be stoned or really punished badly for listening to music. mohammed found music to be illegal.
this is what i heard on the Spencer speech about Islam..can anyone site this?

The taliban did forbid all music.
In Iran western music is not tolerated. But I'm sure everybody likes it, just like in the Soviet union.
Classical western music and Persian music are promoted.
The Arab countries have all music on tv/ radio.
Sometimes the theory and the reality are far way in Arabia...
That doesn't mean I defend them...
But if you would hate Arabian music, you'd hate elements of it that are part of the Eastern Church music too.
As a matter of fact, the liturgic music in the Catholic church was de-Easternised, ( Pope Gregorius - Gregorian chant )by omitting quarter-tones, and the chromatic scale. This makes a huge difference with arab/eastern music.
honestly I hate Eastern music, but that is because I hate lyrics in Arab, or Turkish.
I do not hate Syrian Christian liturgic music,
I do not hate the music of the Orthodox Church.
Jewish liturgical music , is fine for me too.
Only in 1500 chromatic scales really come back in to use. The humanists start reading works by Greek theoreticians,
and subsequently took over ( completely wrong BTW) these theories to invent new music .
But any Jew should study liturgical music, to know, pop-music/Western Classical has nothing to do with the Jewish Culture,
it was by the Catholic Church Western Music became what we know today.
Of course in the 18/19/20th century there were fantastic Jewish composers such as Mendelssohn/Mahler,
but to be able to work as composer they were forcibly converted to Christianity.
Anyway , you can hear Jewish roots in Mahler's music, the clarinets, xylophone doublings of the violins, make a distinctive character, that I would call Jewish, but I don't know if I am right about that.

Drums and singing itself is not considered bad at all. Its just some musical instruments like the flute and other types that are considered bad. Though it is controversial, and different schools of islamic thought have differing opinions.
Most muslim countries are crazy about music.

As people are recommending music: http://youtube.com/watch?v=9Xh7WxscxNE
never expected it to arrive so soon
but as the night drifted on
it came time to say good bye
turning your back and walking away
this cold winter morning is all the remains
why wouldn't you tell me to my face
instead of hiding until i lost faith
a heart gets broken as a life gets set free
and all i asked was love me
years passed, seasons changed and i waited
(hate time to say goodbye, hate time)
soon after was the pain
that would never reach you
you've gotten over me
but it seems i'll never get over you
on me i place this blame
regrets
praying heaven will open wide
and hold you tight
as for me, i'll be alright
this impact you would have
the songs i'd write
dreams of you changing your mind
anything to pass the time
but for now
i hope you can hear me as i cry
i love you and goodbye

I too can't stand Michael Jackson...but I had to dance to "Thriller" once. Not a proud moment :-[ I bet other people have at one point danced to that song.
I slow danced with my first g/f when I was 14 under my uncle's house in Israel to You Are Not Alone. I bought the single tape of it but I didn't like the black noise song on the other side of the tape. I sort of associated the song with my love for her because it was playing on MTV at my grandmother's aunt's house in Bat Yam when we were 13. It was there where I "fell in love" with my first g/f. She wasn't with me then but I started to like her then. I had met her the week before. She was my cousin's friend. I met her on a Friday. I saw her again on Sunday and Monday. My dad and my cousin were pushing us to be with each other. We were at a pool in The Golan Heights and we were somewhat flirting and I was siting with her on some floating device in the pool and I leaned on her. But I didn't kiss her then because I wasn't so sure about it because I never kissed a woman before. On Tuesday I started to "like" her while I was in Bat Yam and Wedneday I kissed her on the cheek in another pool in the Haifa area (Kiriat Bialik). I didn't know how I would like it. But I liked it and I kept wanting to kiss her more but she wouldn't let me kiss her on the lips. I think if I would have kissed her on the lips the first time, she would have let me. In The Golan Heights, I think she liked me so if I was ready then, I could have kissed her and she would have let me kiss her on the lips. She and my cousin were chasing me around the pool in The Golan Heights. But after I kissed her on Wedneday, the tide was turned and she was intimidated by me and I was being too aggresive. I was a young teenager. I think G-d didn't let me kiss her on the lips so I could save it for my wife. I still have never kissed a woman on the lips and curerentyly, I wouldn't even hug a woman other than my wife. I was with her on Thursday and Friday and I saw her Friday Night, and after Shabbat, I returned to The United States. Now to get back to how story started, when I came back to Israel in The Summer when I was 14 she had a 23 year old punk b/f who was a lifeguard at the pool where we kissed. I just danced with her in a private room where my cousin also danced with her b/f and after that I didn't like her from hearing from my cousin about her. I was turned off by the fact that she said she wanted to have sex before she was 15 and I correctly thought that she was trashy for that. But my cousin said she was still a virgin so the next Summer, I wanted her again but I didn't force myself on her that time. After that, I never talked to again. I saw her once when my cousin brought her with us to the beach and I saw her at my cousin's wedding. She similed at me at my cousin's wedding but I just walked past her. She was with her b/f who she was living with and they're now married.
Yaacov, you had a girlfriend at the age of 14?! I wasn't even allowd to do that kind of stuff at that age!

She was with her b/f who she was living with and they're now married.
Yaacov, you had a girlfriend at the age of 14?! I wasn't even allowed to do that kind of stuff at that age!
No, 13. I just danced with her when I was 14. I also danced with a girl at a Hebrew School President's Day Weekend retreat when I was 16. I also kissed a French girl on the cheek who was my Internet g/f. That was when I was 18. But she never wanted to see me after that one time because she already dumped me for her old b/f before we even met. Those are basically my only experiences with women and I'm glad I never went further than hugging or kissing on the cheek.
All the power to you...soon you will find your wife and she'll find you...:)
