Why does Israel enable Muslim religious discrimination against Jews and Christians daily?

 It's past time the Israeli government (http://ezinearticles.com/?&id=345948) act responsibly and end the deplorable status quo upon the Temple Mount, and restore Judaism's holiest site as the Temple Mount, hosting a "a House of Prayer for all peoples" (http://ezinearticles.com/?&id=99366) as envisioned by the Prophets.

THIS is the number one thing that so enrages me about Israel!!!  How in the world could the government show such weakness?  Unfortunately, I know the answer, at least part of it.

Thank you. I'm very much aware of the Temple Institute and make reference to them and the Temple Mount Faithful (of which I am a member) in various articles on this holy subject.
