2 seperate cases but back to back, one came from my old high school Saint Frances Prep. The guidence councelor she died but she started way after I graduated and a student in Masapequa, Long Island a kid 17 also died from the same disease, is there a start of meningitis in this area?

I'm sorry to hear that :'(, that's very lethal and deadly and is not known whether it is caused by bacterium or a virus

Very deadly. My father caught it in 1980, there were 5 other guys in the hospital with it, he was the only one that survived...

Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully the outbreak will be contained. Isn't there a shot against this. I seem to remember having to prove to my college that I was vaccinated?
