I've been reading up a lot on Krav Maga, it looks like all Israel special forces are trained in it. My understanding is you can learn it in the US too, anyone know where I can learn this? Looks effective for realistic street situations.

Not in this area, are these authentic schools or are they watered down versions? That is what I am concerned about.

That i don'nt know , i know a girl who lives in Arizona shes studied a few martial arts and been studying krav maga for about 3yrs she really thinks it's great

The Civilian Course in Krav Maga are watered down version of the Art..Good for street fighting and such but not against Terrorist or such if you like I can put you in touch with Jim Wagner

Yes, I figured maybe for a situation where you are crowded by 3 or 4 thugs in the street or you can't get instant access to your weapon maybe it would be ideal? Most street thugs I would assume aren't trained?
