Jewish people have generally a pretty good economic status. They do spend a lot on private education, however.

Is it ok to buy lotto tickets even though most of the funds end up going to evil causes. In New York, the lotto funds the public school system which I have mixed feelings about. In Maryland it funds the sports arenas, which is evil. In PA, it funds the elderly which may or may not be a good cause. From a moral standpoint, I wonder what state makes the best use of money collected from lotto tickets. At this point in time, I am thinking Utah.
BTW, I never see a lotto ticket as buying an investment. I see it as buying a dream.
