Cause we been hearing about presidential candidates for well over a year and a half ago. Do you think they bombard us for such a long period of time before the elections? In some cases to the point of nausea?

The big one in the States count in November. Thats the one. So from 2006 till 2008 all you start hearing about are candidates. After a while you want to throw up from it

I am apolitical so I only take notice a week before it happens. Here at least its not that long, but your people have to con people to vote, here theres no choice, they know we have to turn up.

I wish the election season was limited. One or two debates, One month of campaigning before the conventions, then one month of campaigning allowed before the election itself. The conventions should be moved up closer to the election as well.

Related to what you mentioned, I would like to see all the primaries and caucuses held on the same date. With the current system, many candidates are out of the race by the time their state has an election. In addition, with the results in states that held prior elections, influencing the remaining elections for the nominations.

You bring up a good point. It is said when our nation was much younger this nonsense would not go on for nearly as long as it does in these modern times. Although I believe enough time should be alloted to give all the candidates ample opportunity to establish their credentials and their views on the pertinent issues, what we're seeing now, the extended amount of time they're in our face blabbing their double-talking banter is most inappropriate.
