I choose other I don't really fit in any of those.
-
I am a Christian Orthodox!
-
I like when Chaim said Jewish is Jewish and he doesn't really believe in any of the made up denominations. Of course the goal is to live life as in accordance with Torah Judaism. I'm still far from perfect in this regard, but I don't want to call myself a Conservative or Reform Jew, just Jewish, and hopefully becoming more religious step by step. O0

Just to tell you, this poll's been done a million times before...

Sorry if it has been done before, but I am relatively new to the forum. I am Jewish, raised in a conservative synagogue and far from a perfect Torah Jew. I am loyal to my people, however, as well as proud to be a Jew. I think that it should be the goal of this forum, first and foremost, to help the Jewish people.

Id have to say other

Hey skippy, is that the bnei brith logo on your profile there, and if so, what exactly is that symbol?
-
I grew up in an Orthodox Christian religion but also attended Catholic school.

Yes its B'nai B'rith symbol here in Victoria Australia. Just means the circle is uniting all Jews and Righteous Gentiles to the cause.
As the Children of Covenant.
We encompass both Australia and New Zealand, as well as being accredited at the UN, in New York and Geneva.

I chose OTHER. The most close to me is Noahide, though I cannot claim to be a pure Noahide since I differ in some interpretation of the Torah ( a pure Noahide is supposed to believe in all Rabbinics interpretations of the Law, besides doing the Sheva Mitzvot)
-
I'd say both Christian Orthodox and Catholic

1/ You left out 'noachide'.

No they're not...Most Orthodox Jews do practice true Torah Judaism, but Orthodox Judaism, itself, is not necessarily Torah Judaism

Wat do you mean?
Orthodox Jews are more likely to be true Torah Jews than non-Orthodox Jews.
However, all Orthodox Judaism isn't necessarily true Torah Judaism.
