I find the former has distinct priviledges, as compared to being involved in something that you don't have your full heart into!  The freedom is wonderful. O0

Well, before matrimony, there has to be some kind of serious relationship where you get to know the person in depth, no?  Sure, finding someone to marry would be great under ideal circumstances, but I'm talking about the process leading up to this.  It can often be an uncomfortable one, at least from my experiences, because if you realize it is not meant to be long-term you have to hurt someone's feelings.

I was not trying to imply any sexual relations at all by saying "serious relationship," more a mental than physical connection.  O0
