Title: God forgive me
Post by: Rubystars on March 04, 2008, 10:36:14 AM
Well I did it, I went and voted for Hillary. Last night I agonized over it. I can't stand her. However, I don't think I could rightly call myself a member of this organization if I hadn't done what I could against Obama.

I had once told someone that it'd be a cold day in hell before I'd vote for Hillary. I guess it's a cold day in hell.

Yes, it looks like the current situation is "blackmailing" many to pull the voting booth lever for Ms. Hillary... And yes, it is indeed a "cold day in Hell", these are surely the times which try men's souls...

You did what you had to do.  Don't worry, you can vote for McCain in the general election, not that he's a great choice either.

So who is taking the apparent lead so far, Obama or Clinton?

What you did was noble and admirable, Ruby. I think most of you know that if the general race is Hitlery vs. McCain, I will vote for the former.

Why did you even vote? if you don't like what you see, don't do it. If you reply well what's my vote gonna do.

If everyone thought like that then nothing would matter, but if you boycott it people would start raising some eyebrows.

Obama and Hilary are the same exact candidate, someone please tell me the difference between them? You shouldn't have even voted for her.

Nice! O0

Obama is waaaaay worse.  All the Muslim groups support him and he could get away with a lot more becasue the press is on his side and he would get the affirmitive action treatment.  Hillary is like getting smacked in the face and Obama is like a baseball bat to the face.  He would push a legacy the likes of which we've never seen.  Also, every poll shows Obama beating McCain but McCain beating Hillary.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and support! I'm glad to know that most people here believe I did the right thing. I'm encouraged by this and also by what I've been hearing on the news.

C.F., I'm not sure what I should do in November yet, but maybe you and other people here can help me to decide.

Why did you even vote? if you don't like what you see, don't do it. If you reply well what's my vote gonna do.

That's not how it works in the United States. Actually my favorite on the Republican side had said some things that really made me not like him as much as I did earlier in the campaign, which really turned me off to him. Huckabee, my second choice, would have been a throwaway vote.

The only way for my vote to make any difference was to do a crossover into the democratic primary. The only way to stop Obama is to vote for Hillary. I don't like Hillary but in this country there are only two parties and no chance for any other party to make an impact on anything. The republican nomination was set already. Only the democratic nomination was up for grabs, and I don't want Obama to win.

In fact on the radio tonight I heard that the crossover votes, like mine, were making all the difference when it came to defeating Obama in Texas.

oSSama is much worse, the fact that he is a BlacKKK muSSlim and will appeal to all the muSSlim dictators like Ahmadinejad and give them American Technology will give the Iranian muSSlim Nazis a chance to exterminate us. He is more of a muSSlim sympathizer than Hitlery, because he is a muSSlim.

Yes well done Rubystars.

In my country it is a rule, that high society saloon-socialists like Hillary are in most cases corrupt and through this less dangerous.  O0

Its not an easy situation to be in and it is very unfortunate it had to play out this way..

I think this is the worst selection of democrat and Republican nominees in recent times..

HOPEFULLY THINGS WILL BE EASIER IN THE NEXT ELECTION AND WE WILL GET A WIDER SELECTION OF DECENT CANDIDATES WITH A CHANCE OF WINNING

The media would constantly censor anyone who criticizes him.  An "Obama revolution" would be like Hugo Chavez's revolution in Venezuela or like what happened in Cuba?

You don't believe me?

I posted yesterday about how one of Obama's campaign offices had a communism flag.

And Obama has stated how he wants to have a relationship with Cuba's government with no preconditions.

We had some good candidates like Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo but the media censored them in debates.

Ruby, What you did was honorable. McCain is not a true republican and Obama will turn this country into Zimbabwe in three secons, what choice really did you have?

Looking at what happened to South Africa and Zimbabwe really frightens me because I am very afraid that such a thing will occur here. I wish you could have seen all the hostile people in the voting line and the way they were looking at me. Even though I hadn't stated who I was going to vote for, apparently they made the assumption that I was voting for Hillary.

We are with you on that vote.

Since Huckabee had no chance, I can respect a vote for Hillary in the primary to help beat out Hussein Osama.  Just don't get carried away and vote for her if she makes it to the general election.

I'm not planning on voting for her in the general election, but I can understand why some people on this board will make that choice as well.

Rubystars,   excellent job on your very difficult decision.   Thank you!

People like yourself could easily be the difference in the Democrats not having a chosen Candidate by the time the primary season ends.      The longer the Democrats are divided,   the more attacks they are going to make against each other.     I'm very concerned that John McCain isn't going to go on the Offensive in the general campaign.    The way he denounced Bill Cunningham in Cincinnati last week is troubling.    In essence,  we need the Democrats to provide the material that can be used against whoever emerges as the winner of their race.

The best case scenario is that Barack Hussein Obama wins the popular vote in the Democratic contests but Hillary wins the nomination because of the Super Delegates.   The end result is many of Obama supports wouldn't vote in November.      That would increase the chances of Hillary losing the general election and the country being spared from the very realistic possibility of disaster.

I prefer Clinton as the Democratic candidate, unlike Obama, who is protected and whitewashed by the media like a poodle, Clinton's has an assorted past that stands out like a wart. While she would still have to possibilty to elect, It could be the tipping point to get the Republicans to get together and grow some balls and she'll have a tougher time than Mccain, who'll be another big-spending Rockafeller Republican, who'll get a free pass just like Bush.
