4th Paragraph from the bottom.
"Large American Jewish organizations, like AIPAC and the Orthodox Union, have repeatedly defended Obama. Yet they've had little sway over reactionary elements in both the United States and Israel - including Jewish hate groups - who are eager to keep the smear campaign alive. The website Jews Against Obama, for instance, is run by the Jewish Task Force, which funnels money to the radical settler movement in Israel. (Curiously, John McCain's alliance with Pastor John Hagee of Christians United for Israel, a leading proponent of "end times" theology, and his recent endorsement by former Secretary of State James Baker have received far less scrutiny from pro-Israel pundits. It was Baker, after all, who reportedly told George H.W. Bush, "deleted the Jews. They didn't vote for us anyway.")"

This is just a copy of the Nation article, though. But nevertheless, more exposure...

Great! There's no such thing as bad publicity!

This is indeed excellent news for the JTF. This article appearing on CBSNews.Com provides the JTF with the type of mass media publicity that can only help JTF becoming larger.
This Ari Berman character sounds like the type of individual who would have been in denial in the 1930's about Jewish survival in Europe being in serious jeopardy. The same apparently applies to AIPAC and the Orthodox Union.

We are now on Google-news O0
Thanks CBS ;D

I agree. One left wing newspaper copies the other and eventually people know about us.

Remember the last 2 letters of CBS tells it all.. Remember Dan Bladder

i would have liked to reply to ari with the following answer:
"Funny how some of you turn the other cheek when a black person has a spiritual leader for 20 years who's hate is equivalent to a white man's version of Hitler and David Duke. Odd how you would call the Jewish Task Force a 'hate group', yet you support a candidate who supports the destruction of all Whites and Jews. Funny how double standards rear their ugly head especially from 'impartial' journalists and 'impartial' news agencies such as CBS. Well, I have three words to say to you: 'SHAME ON YOU!!!!!' Shame on you for perptetrating inequality in a country which was built on equality...Equality for whites and blacks!!! And you know what? None of you understand that! The stain in your hearts and brains are even clearer to my eyes..and you know who will die first in the gas chambers or nuclear holocaust, (may we never see it ever happen)."

(The Nation) This column was written by Ari Berman.
What a disgrace that that article was written by a self-hating Jew.
Not only that, but the article featured several self-hating Jews. You know what, I wouldn't worry about "The Nation". They're a leftist magazine anyway. Can anybody find a soundbyte on this Berman guy. Bet he sounds a lot like Mike Bloomberg.

This Berman is an evil monster no doubt!

Are you all sure this is a good thing? Being called a hate group is one step away from being called a terrorist organisation (even though JTF isn't - it's a political movement). If that were to happen though, don't you think JTF's growth in the US would almost stop? The US is in a "war on terror" after all.

Awesome!
We are begining to get just enough attention, which could mean Big Things in the future... ;)

The more publicity, the better. This can only help us grow, G-d willing.

Cool, you have a lot more experience with activism Chaim, so if you don't think the whole hate group stigma being handed to us by some of these media outlets is anything to worry about, then this really IS a good development. It's getting our name out there!

I think this is great! Looks like we are making some waves.
"which funnels money to the radical settler movement in Israel"
Why is it we are always the radicals and muslim scum who commit atrocities and murder innocent civilians are "freedom fighters"? Because it goes against George Bush's "Roadmap to Piece" (as in piece of a kidney... piece of a bladder).
In the news, it was just announced that the death toll for American soldiers in Iraq reached 4,000 deaths... more than the Twin Towers in which 2,974 people died. This administration has killed more people for what? And they aren't the "radicals"? We are the "radicals"? What a joke.

And all these "piece deals" have resulted in death and violence. You can't bring "democracy" to uncivilized barbarians who chant for our deaths in unison.
JTF was right all along!

JTF is Mentioned Again; CBS Calls Us A "Smear Machine"
If by 'smear machine' they mean the JTF reveals unpleasant truths they wish to be hidden then that's a valid statement and one that should be lived up to. Shine the light of day on them!
Wow, I like this place more and more. You are really getting under the leftist dhimmis skin. My deepest admiration.
