Can anyone tell me about them? How many adherents? I've seen some videos and they seem to place alot of emphasis on prayer, meditation, and singing. Interesting group.

Very Holy exalted teachings. From Rabbi Nachman from Breslev.

I have some of these, I would recommend, expecially the Likutei Moharan Volumes (one at a time). Their is also many teachings available online.
Some teachings include, talking to G-d in your own language (daily conversation with G-d). Serving G-d threw joy and constant happiness, being Shomer Habrit, and rectifying it, and different sins (expecially threw the 10 specific chapters of Tehillim that Rabbi Nachman revealed, and much more).
http://azamra.org/essential.shtml - here are some teachings online.
http://nissim.lbox.org/breslev/ - here is a little of Likutei Moharan, but the book is much better because it also has depper commentery, etc.

I don't think they are part of the viscous anti zionist ideology which is prevalent among some of the groups so I guess they aren't bad. I think Chabad does more overall good and have far more of an influence.

The Na Na Narishkeits are a small fraction of Breslov, the majority of whom are great Chasidim...

Thanks everyone for all the info and thanks Tzvi for all the links. I'll pick up a few of those books.

Is the Na Na Nach Nachman slogan a mantra that they use for meditation?
-
they look crazy to me ::)
-
My Rabbi considers them to be practicers of Avodah Zara. The Mantra that Mekubalim say is for instance with G-ds name - Ado*ai- Alef, Alef Daled, Alef Daled Nun, Alef Daled Nun Yud. And with other names, Ye**vah. Yud, Yud He ,Yud He vav etc. All of these kabbalistic meditations are only allowed to be done with the names of Hashem, and only by Mekubalim. For people to say this for a rabbi, a man of flesh and blood is crazy, and Avodah Zara. Its the same with Chabad who consider the Rebbe Mashiach. The Chassidic movement itself is crazed. What kind of person calls himself a Chassid? SOme1 doesnt call themselves "great". It isnt Anava.

Are you sure? I thought that one cant pronounce those Holy names, but only keep them in thought, and visualize them in though.

Anyway about Mantras, its actually good to repeat something from the Torah or other writing, because it will help you with your thoughts, fro example if you are having problems with controling your thoughts, by having a certain verse that you have repeated over and over again, you would be able to control your thoughts by focusing on that instead. (It could be anything, expecially something you like, or some teaching that appeals to you- but short like 5 or 6 words).

I had a good off color joke, but I'll be quiet about it. I like the Breslover Chassidim. I've read some of their Rabbi's sefer which talks about serving G-d through happiness and would highly recommend reading it.

Mekubalim and people who know what they are doing can pronounce Hashems names. But you arent allowed to use a persons name for a mantra.

That is a good idea, I never thought of that. Do use a certain pasuk?

Yea, Na NA nachman nachman me uman. Just joking. You can use anything, maybe something that starts with the first letter of your name and ends with the last leter of your (hebrew) name. Or another good one you can use is "Poteah Et Yadeha Omasbeiah Lechol Hi Ratzon. from Ashrei. Or the last verse that we say when we go to sleep (12 times) Bayadeha afikid Ruhi Padita oti Adon-oy El EmEt.
