If he was running late he could even pray whilst he was driving or something. Muslims are also allowed to pray with either their finger or by blinking believe or not. Plus this guy was going to fast for it to mean anything, he is crazy and should be fired and the people offered compensation for their time that was wasted.
His selfishness overrides any prayer he was trying to do.
