Use Firefox it works so much better than Internet Explorer which works much better than AOL browser.
Has MW tried http://anonymouse.org?
Or just reboot your modem.
Or better yet, drop AOL.
-
It is AOL. AOL has an idiotic system of assigning the same IP's to different users. You should drop AOL.
Dynamic IP?
-
Dynamic IP?
No.
AOL forces data to be transferred through their proxies.
The IPs that we keep on having to ban are their proxy IPs.

So how can this be fixed to anyone that uses AOL I also use AOL to have contacts with David. But its only this forum that I do encounter this problem and I tried with IE it didn't help.
-
So technically I am banned no matter what? This is crazy and just this forum no problem on anything else.

When you connect with AOL as your ISP (Internet Service Provider) you agree to let them be your gatekeeper to the Internet. But AOL is totally unnecessary. It is an overpriced crutch which nobody needs to do anything on the Internet -- including Instant Messaging with David :)
In fact it is sometimes an impediment, as you have discovered.

MasterWolf I use Compuserve which is the same company as AOL. When we went to the new forum I was unable to log on through Compuserve. I downloaded Mozella Fire Fox and have been using that with great results. The Compuserve has started working with the forum however the Fire Fox still shows it much better. The download is simple and I have it loaded on both my computers with good results.

Hope it will work
