The Olympic Torch and Olympic Games are a commemoration of pagan Greek worship. Furthermore, these games were played during the Greek opression of Jews until they were liberated in Chanukah? What do you think?

Very good observation. I have never considered this. It is a celebration of Greek culture and involves some pagan imagery. I dont think it is wrong for Goyim to participate in these opening ceremonies. though as a Jew I would be very offended at mention of the gourds of Olympus.

No. The Rebbe asked that Jews stay away from the Olympics, even for the purpose of doing outreach on unaffiliated Jews there.
It's obviously a very evil institution and always has been.

if anything the oppression of tibetinese should be enough to protest the olympics this year

The Olympics merit no interest. It's just another overhyped event where companies get to advertise their crap. Plus, it reminds us just how God awful America has become at basketball.

What a paradox!!! China is one of the largest countries on Earth, but if you say Tibet is not theirs they arrest you. Argentina is more than 1 million sq km large, but you have be brave enough to say the Falkland are British here. Israel is one of the smallest countries, however everyone thinks it's ok to deny its right even on its own capital!!!
