Slideshow: Pictures of the week According to a report Tuesday on Army Radio, three weeks ago the two soldiers were watching a film surveying Israel's history, and, during a lengthy segment devoted to the 1995 Rabin assassination, stood up and applauded.
The soldiers were immediately court-martialed and sentenced to 10 days imprisonment.
They were later expelled from the Golani fighting core by the head of the brigade.
According to the report, both soldiers came from West Bank communities and one of them is the son of a high-ranking member of the Council of Jewish Communities in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip.
The radio station quoted the official as saying that although his son was a "serious bardakist (troublemaker)", he was not guilty of desecrating the memory of the former prime minister.
The soldier sitting next to his son had been the one to applaud, he reportedly claimed.

I think the two soldieres are not guilty. Rabbin has caused this hate by himself. Actually it is his fault, if Israeli citizen are lucky that he was killed. just my oppinion.
