We all know that he is "maveric" so he may choose Liberman.He doesn't need conservatives(he thinks we don't have choice)so he will still stand in the middle of the road.

T Paw cancelling his interviews and appearances worries me bigtime ....
he is cancelling to be with mccain at this rally.

I hope he picks Romney or Huckabee. He needs to pick someone that will give the ticket some substance.

I like Mitt Romney too, and he backed out of the race early because he didn't want any division in the Republican party.
I admire him for doing what was right. Mitt is conservative and it would be a good balance as you stated.

The selection of Pruneface
would in effect be another instance
of Mccain deliberately kicking sand in
the face of conservatives. 

And it would be two liberals running against two liberals

I suspect (hope) that Mccain has been advised
against being suicidal.

Pawlenty said he is NOT going to Ohio -  unless he is lying.


"Pawlenty says he still plans to be at the Minnesota State Fair Friday, where he's to do his weekly radio show, and that he has no plans to fly to Ohio, where McCain is expected to announce his choice at a rally in Dayton Friday."
