"US, Lebanon Announce Military Commission, Weapons Deal


(IsraelNN.com) The United States and Lebanon announced Monday that they have set up a joint military commission to institutionalize their bilateral military relationship. The two sides said the commission would provide an annual opportunity for the two countries to discuss current and future military cooperation goals.

An inaugural session was initiated Monday by Defense Minister Elias Murr and Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Mary Beth Long. A joint statement issued by the US Embassy and the Lebanese army said the two countries signed three military contracts worth $63 million in US grants to the Lebanese army for infantry weapons, ammunition and secure communications."



Hezbollah is today a faction in the official Lebanese govt.   They also dominate the military.

I have made this suggestion before, when you made a post that nobody read, and asked why.

When you quote an article, don't bother putting those quote tags around it.  It makes the font much smaller

We can see it is a quote of an article if you include the link at the top, as you have

the  title of the article, the author,  As you have.

And you can include quotes like

"
...
...
..
"

so it's even clearer. But it's fairly obvious anyway.

The quote tags you used make the font smaller and make it less readable.
And it's totally unnecessary.

How did quote tags even get in there?!  Did you type them in?

When you start a new post, there are no quote tags

I don't even see how it's possible to make that mistake as an accident!
