Title: Look I have bought a knife
Post by: Ulli on November 19, 2008, 05:07:37 PM
(http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/8007/knifeof1.jpg)

I have bought it cheap. I had it during my service. Very solid heavy steel and sharp like a razor blade.

It is the old modell of the Bundeswehr knife.

Yes, it makes a great sound if you put it in the    sheath and pull it out.

P.S. I have found a female trader, where I can order sea fish. I have ordered 3 kg of fresh herring for next week. I will try the recipe.

This is the new knife modell. It is ugly:

I never really liked a tanto knife because it is prone to becoming dull when the blade makes the up sweep
I prefer a drop point or a reversed curved knife

May I ask what will you use it for?

I use it primary to open cardboard boxes. Not very heroically :-/

But I would use it for self defense too if necessary.

Do you know how to sharpen it, if it will become stub?

I don't want to use a grinding stone, because I am not expierienced enough to handle it properly. I could ruin it.

If you buy a sharpening stone you should get a couple of stones like a soft stone and a hard stone or if they sell them where you live a GATCO Four Stone Diamond Sharpening System

Is it a Hunter's knife, because it has a saw-blade?

If you are in melee, it is possible, that the saw-teeth will get stuck at bones or sinews.

But if you have shot a deer, you can use it to saw easy through the abdominal wall of it.

I have seen this a few times.

They are uamong other things undersea divers.

Here's my knife. It's pretty scary and dangerous:

I know what you're asking yourself... Is it legal? Yes, but only barely. And if something happened to the blade, the toothpick could also be used as a throwing weapon. Don't be jealous.

Yes, and in the reality its much more beautiful gun. The attacker will be not able to fight for 1 hour at least. The pistol's transmission distance is perfect until 5-7 metres. Its good against wild dogs too. It shoots a gas cloud. There are CS and "Pepper" bullets too. Not much money. It will not give enduring damage to your enemy. It is one of the greatest gas pistol because:

- Durable
- Strong
- Reliable
- Average size (You can easily wear it and hide it)
- Great capacity (14 bullets)
- Semi Automatic
- It is not ornament or decorative gun, like the currently gas pistols, for example Colt 1911
