Would love your views.

After doing a bit of research about him I think he was the best USA president of all time:

If you think a man who brought forth the so called civil rights to the uncivilized, and engaged us in years into Vietnam great then you don't have high hopes for a president.  I figure you are a leftist.

Really? Did you know who was his attorney general at the time? Ramsey Clark, here educate yourself

After exiting the attorney general post in 1969, Clark moved to New York City to practice law, taking on clients in matters of international law and human rights, particularly those with claims against the U.S. government—a unique position for a former attorney general. In particular, Clark has specialized in representing Middle Eastern groups and individuals, including the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). Clark successfully represented the PLO in an action brought by the U.S. government to close the PLO's Permanent Observer Mission at the United Nations (United States v. PLO, 695 F. Supp. 1456 [S.D.N.Y. 1988]). Clark also represented the PLO in a suit brought by the survivors of Leon Klinghoffer, who was killed in 1985 while aboard the hijacked Achille Lauro (Klinghoffer v. SNC Achille Lauro, 816 F. Supp. 930 [S.D.N.Y. 1993]).

OMG !!!

You are so blind. We are talking about a man who risked his job and career to save Jews.

He was the 1st president to authorize wepon sales to Israel and supported them all the way.

For the love of Hashem what does LBJ have to do directly with this man's actions.

You might aswell incinerate Schindler (may his memory be blessed) because he was friends with the Nazis.

All that I am saying is LOOK at how many JEWS he SAVED when NO ONE ESLE CARED !

Maybe giving rights to all blacks wasn't such a good idea , I agree.

But you seem to miss the point. The man saved 500 Jews.

The one who saves a life, save the world entire.

I take it you are not Jewish?

LBJ was also carried out Vietnam that the other dead animal JFK brought the United States into and cost the lives of so many American GIs to a war that was going nowhere where a bunch of uneducated junglers defeated the US in great shame, through that we had the start buckle of waves of a dying economy through the late 60s and 70s and through that the Hippie leftist degenerates was created.  SO LBJ A great president? Not on your life he is where he belongs in a fire pit in hell.

he was one of the worst. He did not allow israel to defend herself with a preemptive attack against 7 arab nations in 1967. He even threatened to stop aiding Israel if she did.  And she went against lyndon johnson and won the six day war causing a much more world wide respect for the nation despite lyndon Johnson's attitude and avoiding a mass loss of Jewish life if she had waited for these arab nations to attack first.

To everyone other than "Elle." Elle is really "Archie" who used to be a member of this forum before his tuchis was banned. Archie bragged not long ago on one of the splinters that he would sign up here with a new name. A little while back, he pretended to be "Mohamad" from Gaza. This piece of excrement "Archie" spends his entire life bashing Chaim on Yacov Rachamims "forum" with Yacov's enthusiastic support. I can also tell that it's Archie by the way "it" skips lines when "it" types. Archie needs to be ignored until someone bans him.

LBJ's legacy is the great society... We can thank LBJ for 1) Our welfare state, 2) The first president to start stealing out of Social Security contributions, 3) Medicare.

What is the moral of LBJ????  THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN DEMS GET SUPERMAJORITY!!!!.   However.. as despicable as he was.... he wasn't an American-hater like Obama.  He wasn't trying to sabotage our country..... he was just very misguided.

LBJ was a colorful character. He was a product of the New Deal and wanted his presidency to be a continuation of that sort of policy. Not many folks here on the forum can actually say they remember when LBJ was in the White House but I can. I can still remember him on the nightly news reports and the way he spoke in his speeches. He was some piece of work picking his dogs up by the ears skinny dipping in the White House pool, tossing the White House china around. His policies back then seemed very liberal but by today's standards would not even raise an eyebrow. For all the bad things he did he did do some good. Before he became president he pushed programs like the rural electrification projects that  brought electricity to millions of people who still lived by candle light as late as the 1950's in parts of America. LBJ had a rough presidency saddled with Viet Nam , forced to sign a bill for civil rights that he really would not have cared to and worst of all being president with the ghost of JFK over his back could not be pleasant. On top of it all he had to deal with RFK . LBJ's policies and mine are not alike however I don't think he was evil or wanted to undermine the country he was just doing what he thought was best for his constituency.
