FDR tried as long as possible to appease Hitler.  When a government representative from the US tried to save some Jews from the Holocaust, the US government ordered against it.

The Americans where the first nation to recognize the new State of Israel on the very same day of Israel's statehood. So your Post is weak and has no merit.
