Didn't this video cause some sort of scandal?  If I'm not mistaken, some republican senator or congressman was caught circulating this video.  He had to apologize, the media had a field day with this.  Did you guys hear anything about this?

This came up because of the race for the chairmenship of the GOP/Republican party.  One candidate sent out an album as a Christmas gift by this right wing comedian named Paul Shanklin who gets played by right wing talk show host Rush Limbaugh.  The other candidate said it was outrageous that the album was sent out to members of the Republican Party because it hurts the image of Republicans being inclusive. Just part of the internal politics of the GOP party.

Limbaugh and Al Shanklin came up with that song after someone wrote a news article calling Obama The Magic Negro. The News article stated that Obama was magic because when liberal white folks saw him they felt good. Obama's speeches were always vague and it gave the liberals the ability to hear what they wanted to hear. Moreover voting for Obama would relieve them of white guilt.
