Title: Today is our Christmas eve
Post by: SerbChicago on January 06, 2009, 06:32:41 PM: Today is our Christmas eve for us orthodox people :dance:.Tommorow is a Crismas day so i am not working tonight and tommorow. :)

Because we still folow the "old" calendar so today is in old calendar 12.23 but in new one is todays day 01.06

Thank you.I have to go in like half hour in church and spend time with my mom and dad,that's all.In morning Christmas breakfast and spend time with my mom and dad again.

Merry Christmas to you! I used to know how to say it in Old Church Slavonic (I have a friend who is Russian Orthodox, and she taught me how), but now I forget. Oh well!
