I don't understand Buchanan when it comes to Israel and issues pertaining to the Middle East.  How a man that has the beliefs he does on some many issue could be so out to lunch on the above mentioned puzzles me.

Ranter, Buchanus is NOT a rightist. It's his schtick. It's a game that he plays, with the establishment media. He knows that as long as he pretends to be against abortion, gay marriage, and gun confiscation, and simultaneously defends Hiter, he will always have a cush job with MSNBC (because they always like to make it look like conservatives are Nazis).

His being with such a vile network does raise my suspicion of him.
