The first half of this short video is talking about Islam. Then see for yourself what he really thinks about Jewish people in the second half.
-
nothing too offensive there in my opinion.
-
I agree with MackaB. Israel is more socialist than say, America. So of course there will be poverty.

Hello Fruit of Thy Loins, and good day to you.
There is nothing in that video with respect to the Jewish people that Chaim Ben Pesach hasn't said himself. I don't believe it's evidence of any antipathy towards the Jewish people.

Pat Robertson is one of Israel's hugest allies on the planet. He actually advocates the release of the hero Jonathan Pollard. I would be VERY surprised to hear the slightest anti-Semitic thing slip from his lips, and don't buy it that this video contains such a thing.

he was great on the Pollard issue but let's not magnify him too much. he's better than most but...

This is not a "slightest anti-semitic slip". There are numerous verses in the Tanak rebuking the Jewish people.
Read Exodus 32:9-10 and Judges 2:18-19.
God cares for the Jews and like a Father corrects His children He rebuked them and the prophets of Tanak also rebuked Jews because they loved them. Pat Robertson also makes some remarks like this occasionally because he cares about Israel

What does he do you disagree with?
-
nothing much...actually I like him. I wrote to him at his site and thanked him for taking a courageous stand on the Pollard issue. I think he is genuinely a good guy who cares about Americans and is not a political slimebag like most of our leaders. He is pretty solid. He wants to avert disaster and save lives even if it means going against popular opinion and that is a great thing.
My only issue is that you know exactly how it is with Jews and the big time Gospel guys. We are friends, but we have some differences.
But you are right...he is one of Israel's best allys on the planet.

Remember also how Robertson said that Ariel Sharon's stroke was tied to Israel unilaterally giving up its land? There was quite the uproar in Israel about his comments so he had to make a retraction. Apparently, he had a deal for a Christian theme park in Israel which he didn't want to fall through.
Chaim was also in agreement about Sharon's stroke being a punishment for throwing Jews out of their homes.

yeah these are the things he is right about...Ariel Sharon, Hurrican Katrina...he can see these things and a lot of people in America probably think he is absurd for saying these things when in fact I also believe they are true. That's what I like about him.
Christian theme parks? what like disneyland?

I know what you're talking about. I myself might be classified as one of those "big time gospel guys". I think the true litmus test is whether they support Jews who do NOT become Christians. I think Robertson, Falwell, and most other Zionist evangelicals pass that with flying colors.
