You may not be aware of this fact: The day that the news broke about Reagan's death, Carter was scheduled to be at the launching of a modest navy vessel named in his (ie, Carter's) honor. So, on a day that was supposed to honor Carter, Reagan stole all the headlines. So, in contrast to your observation about Carter outliving Reagan, it was in fact Reagan who beat Carter once again even while dying, a great irony.

By the way, I wish Carter four more healthy years, to serve his usual role as a pain in the presidential [censored], this time to Obama. Let's see how the Messiah deals with that chronic interloper.
