Where does Queer analysis fit into Anti-Apartheid struggles?
What are the intersections of Queer movements and Palestinian resistance?
How do we rekindle the flame of Queer radicalism?
Queers Against Israeli Apartheid, a collective of queer, Toronto Palestine
solidarity organizers, are inviting you to attend a panel discussion on
'queering' the analysis of Israeli Apartheid. As a collective, we hope to
explore the ways in which we, as Queers, can organize in Toronto and work in
solidarity with social justice initiatives.
Speakers include:
Nayrouz - A queer Palestinian currently studying at York, and a founding
member of ASWAT, a Palestinian gay women's group.
Jenny Peto - A queer, anti-Zionist, Jewish activist living in Toronto, and
also a member of Coalition Against Israeli Apartheid.
Natalie Kouri-Towe - A PhD student enrolled at OISE, exploring the history
of queer movements in the Middle East.
John Greyson - A York professor and filmmaker who has documented and
explored queer organizing, particularly in relation to anti-Apartheid
struggles.
This event is part of the University of Toronto Students' Union (UTSU)
eXpression Against Oppression (XAO) week.

Heres why queers feel a kinship with moslems
http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/archives/196064.php
Then he left and I left with him until we reached the mosque. He sat down and wrapped himself in his garment. Then he said, 'Where is the little one? Call the little one to me.' Hasan came running and jumped into his lap. Then he put his hand in his beard. Then the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, opened his mouth and put his tongue in his mouth. Then he said, O Allah, I love him, so love him and the one who loves him!'"
Hadith 1183

I've gotta get out of this cursed country.

There is an apertheid in Israel, though not against the Arabs, but against the Jews.
Any person who can read in Hebrew can read the Israeli news, and throw up after he reads about the crappy Communist Bolshevik stupidity which rules in my country.

Why do these people always come from Toronto? I'm getting sick of Toronto? It's not like we need it anyway. There sports teams suck and they pollute too much. Then again, if there is no Toronto, these vermin will just spread like the plague.
