Title: Can somebody explain the significance of this hallacic principle please?

"Not to wear garments made of wool and linen mixed together." (Deut. 22:11) (CCN181).

As with so much of Torah law, I'm sure this law has several interpretations and significances.  My nephew just asked me about this law but I don't know.  Any interpretations would be helpful.  Thanks!
