JTF has been called racist. I know that can't be true because I wouldn't be here.
What's everyone's ethnic background?
-
Unsure...I was adopted by a loving family at 4 days old. The only thing that I know for certain is that I am the first child of a Young Jewish couple who choose to set up my adoption.
My adoptive family, Also Jewish, is whom I call my Family.
-
I haven't a clue. My family is from Morocco, we're Sepharadic, but I'm white with blue-green eyes and have to work really hard if I want a tan. I suspect my family ancestors got to Morocco a very long time ago from somewhere else where people are white and have green eyes. A DNA test is in order. :::D
-
I'm of German, Celtic, and English descent.
JTF is made up of many types of people and your ethnic origin isn't really important here as long as you're a good person. People shouldn't feel like they have to share if they don't want to.
-
100% Serbian! :)
-
I'm a first generation American. My parents are Iranian born Jews.
-
Italian, but who knows? Italy had Arabs, Jews, Greeks, Phoenecians, Germans, Celts, and Normans. But my mother's area were mostly Greeks, Arabs, and I'm learning now Jews. I look like someone from the middle east, though, with light skin..
-
I am of English,Irish and Cherokee lineage.
-
Ashkenazi (Polish, Russian, Latvian)

My Mother & her siblings are from Morocco. We have light skin or olive skin in our family, and green or brown eyes. My mother is spanish, portugese and french. My father was english. My sister in law was born in Morocco and she has white skin and green eyes like the rest of her family, my nephew is also light skinned and has green eyes like his Mother. My niece is the opposite of her Mom, she has my brothers olive skin and dark brown eyes.
I have my Mothers olive complexion when i get a tan or sun exposure, brown eyes and my dad's english features. My brother has light skin like you and hazel eyes and english features. He is also spanish, portugese, french and english. It is interesting how genetics work, amazing actually.

I hope that this is a joke. Fidelity is a very important quality, one of the reasons the Ten Commandments assigns the death penalty for Adultery. I will never call myself an Infidel because I constantly know that Hashem is my G-d and he is with me. As far as from an Islamic perspective I guess I am an Infidel, but that term is not exclusively Islamic. Judaism places very much emphasis on being true to G-d and not worshiping others.

Infidel means non Muslim. Infidelity and infidel are not the same.
Shalom - Dox : )
Actually according to the online dictionary this word is used by both Christians and Muslims to mean this..
From The Collaborative International Dictionary of English v.0.48 :
Infidel \In"fi*del\, a. [L. infidelis; pref. in- not + fidelis
faithful, fr. fides faith: cf. F. infid[`e]le. See
Fidelity.]
Not holding the faith; -- applied by Christians to one who
does not believe in the inspiration of the Scriptures, and
the supernatural origin of Christianity; used by Mohammedans
to refer to those who do not believe in Islam.
[1913 Webster +PJC]
The infidel writer is a great enemy to society. --V.
Knox.
[1913 Webster]
From The Collaborative International Dictionary of English v.0.48 :
Infidel \In"fi*del\, n.
One who does not believe in the prevailing religious faith; a
heathen; a freethinker; -- used especially by Christians and
Mohammedans.
[1913 Webster +PJC]
Note: Infidel is used by English writers to translate the
equivalent word used Mohammedans in speaking of
Christians and other disbelievers in Mohammedanism.
Syn: Infidel, Unbeliever, Freethinker, Deist,
Atheist, Sceptic, Agnostic.
Usage: An infidel, in common usage, is one who denies
Christianity and the truth of the Scriptures. Some
have endeavored to widen the sense of infidel so as to
embrace atheism and every form of unbelief; but this
use does not generally prevail. A freethinker is now
only another name for an infidel. An unbeliever is not
necessarily a disbeliever or infidel, because he may
still be inquiring after evidence to satisfy his mind;
the word, however, is more commonly used in the
extreme sense. A deist believes in one God and a
divine providence, but rejects revelation. An atheist
denies the being of God. A sceptic is one whose faith
in the credibility of evidence is weakened or
destroyed, so that religion, to the same extent, has
no practical hold on his mind. An agnostic remains in
a state of suspended judgment, neither affirming nor
denying the existence of a personal Deity.
[1913 Webster]
From WordNet (r) 2.0 :
infidel
n : a person who does not acknowledge your God [syn: heathen,
pagan, gentile]
From Moby Thesaurus II by Grady Ward, 1.0 :
40 Moby Thesaurus words for "infidel":
agnostic, atheist, atheistic, disbeliever, disbelieving, ethnic,
faithless, freethinker, gentile, giaour, goy, goyish, heathen,
heretic, infidelic, kaffir, minimifidian, misbelieving,
non-Christian, non-Jew, non-Jewish, non-Mohammedan, non-Mormon,
non-Moslem, non-Muhammadan, non-Muslim, nonbeliever, nullifidian,
pagan, profane, secularist, shegets, shiksa, unbeliever,
unbelieving, unchristian, uncircumcised, zendician, zendik,

From Bouvier's Law Dictionary, Revised 6th Ed (1856) :
INFIDEL, persons, evidence. One who does not believe in the existence of a
God, who will reward or punish in this world or that which is to come.
Willes' R. 550. This term has been very indefinitely applied. Under the name
of infidel, Lord Coke comprises Jews and heathens; 2 Inst 506; 3 Inst. 165;
and Hawkins includes among infidels, such as do not believe either in the
Old or New Testament. Hawk. P. C. b 2, c. 46, s. 148.
2. It is now settled that when the witness believes in a God who will
reward or punish him even in this world he is competent. See willes, R. 550.
His belief may be proved from his previous declarations and avowed opinions;
and when he has avowed himself to be an infidel, he may show a reform of his
conduct, and change of his opinion since the declarations proved when the
declarations have been made for a very considerable space of time, slight
proof will suffice to show he has changed his opinion. There is some
conflict in the cases on this subject, some of them are here referred to:
18 John. R. 98; 1 Harper, R. 62; 4 N. Hamp. R. 444; 4 Day's Cas. 51; 2
Cowen, R. 431, 433 n., 572; 7 Conn. R. 66; 2 Tenn. R. 96; 4 Law Report, 268;
Alis. Pr. Cr. Law, 438; 5 Mason, 16; 15 mass. 184; 1 Wright, 345; So. Car.
Law Journ. 202. Vide Atheist; Future state.

Ok, I think I know what you meant to say...infidelity was taken by the Moslems and used as a term to decribe the non faithful?
I hear the word infidel and I see that as not being a Moslem. I never had connected the two. Now this gives me reason to hate the stinking evil Moslems even more. They twist everything to a gross degree! I wish they were all dead. Even their evil children!

Why dont you want to accept this? I wasnt even aware that there was any sort of controversy?
By the way... I'm sure you know the prominent role that skin color has played in your country's pre-colonial past? And the history of the Aryan's attempt to keep their racial stock separate from the Dravidian's? Ive heard that the roots of the Hindu 'caste' system actually came from a system of color. (White being the Highest and Black being the lowest). Which is partially why 'caste' is sanskrit for color.

Weigang sounds like it could be a German name. There are many German or Jewish last names that start with "Wei" such as "Weinstein," "Weingarten," or "Weinberg."

My grandfather was Baghdadi Jew....in the early 20th century he fled iraq with a dozen other Iraqi Jews for persia (Iran) and later settled in the port city of Bombay in India. He met my grandma there who was Hindu indian and married her. My mother's family is Zoroastrian Persian and fled Iran more than three centuries ago. In secular India tolerant for its religious diversity I confirm to all three faiths....Hindu, Jewish and Zoroastrian. It may seem scandalous in any other part of the world but this is Bombay and well known for its extreme tolerance of diversity (Muslims excepted) The Jews, Zoroastrians and Hindus have prospered over the years and continue to flourish in India. Many Arab Jews families left India for Israel in 1948 but we have stuck around and continue to adapt to the changing tides. I will eventually settle down in capitalist Hong Kong or Singapore but it would be for business reasons, not because I have anything against the city I call home.

I will steer clear of speaking of Hinduism here, because I dont want to offend your faith.
And I will honestly say that I wasn't aware that some Indian Nationalists have the stance that Dr. Elst has and I now understand that this is SUPER controversial in India.
Here is my stance on this. Please understand that EVERY country has people who are genetically and culturally from another area. This can be for dozens of reasons, not just conquering, and this DOESNT make the host country bad, or impure, or evil, its just part of their history.
Everywhere you see genetic variation within a geographic area that has no barriers, its either because people migrated their, people conquered it, or people were part of some exodus from another area. I think its great that one country has every color from the darkest Dravidian to the lightest skinned fair-eyed Indo-Aryan. Assuming they all love India, and its culture, genetics from different areas should not be frowned upon.
Do a majority of Indian Nationalist believe in the 'out of India' theory? or is it just a small portion?
-
Like the Allman Brothers once wrote:
"My father was a gambler down in Georgia,
And he wound up on the wrong end of a gun.
So I was born in the back seat of a Greyhound bus,
Rollin' down Highway Forty-One."
In truth, a native midwesterner of Slovenian ancestry. If you're not familiar with Slovenia, it was the northwestern-most province of the former Jugoslavia, sandwiched between northern Italy, Austria, Croatia, and Hungary. It's a fascinating cultural mix of Roman, Bavarian, and Eastern European. For instance, a meal might consist of a spaghetti dinner, and drinks might be beer before dinner, wine with dinner, and slivovitz (a plum brandy not far from vodka) after dinner.
Like many nations in that part of the world, alcoholism is not exactly rare.

Northern Indian consider they have ancestory from Punjab/Sindh which were once all part of Ancient India. hence they do naturally believe they are ethnically connected to the Hindu religion irrespective of their color/race..
It is very complex to understand genetics in India because
1)India had one of the world anicent civilizations
2)People of various race/ethnicity came to India for trade/conquering .. have lived and married and adapeted into the Hindu fold...
Let me give you an example.
there are Hindus in India and Nepal who have Chinese/Mongol ancestory but yet they would not be able to tell about their root race/ethnicity.

i think we should have a poll based on this and add it on JTF homepage, so that people who have misconceptions about JTF being racist will get to know the truth.

if they see people of different races are supporting JTF, how can they say we are racist?

Huh?
Then, who's that guy in your signature?
It's Duncan Hunter, who I voted for.

I know my family tree back to 13th century. The first root in 13th century lies in Montenegro. For 6 centuries I have only Serbian blood. No mixtures...
Many people in Serbia knows its background to at least 2 or 3 centuries, and some to early medieval. It's a tradition to know it,preserve the knowledge of grand-grand-grand fathers and mothers and to respect them.

So, there we have it, JTF is not racist.
It is open to all races. It is against evil cults like Islam.
If evil people want to call us racist, so be it.
As long as *good* people don't call us racist.
We won't convince everyone. There will always be people who just won't listen.
Hey, JTF is against evil whites like Clinton, Al Gore, John F Kerry.

It is...But,the worst is when you see people having this knowledge and being disrespectful to their roots by the way of life they lead today which is a complete disgrace to their ancestors.
And on the other hand, there are people who don't know their roots, but they try to build something, certain moral tradition for their kids and the kids of their kids...

My wife is Filipino.
I was raised Catholic but now just consider myself a Christian.
Though, me , my wife, and my children are all 100% American.
And only in the sense that I abhor islam, I am 100% infidel.
