I heard a caller years ago who accused Savage of playing a conservative to make money and being a secret liberal. Savage said that he had never heard that theory and it was very interesting.
He has been playing millions of people for 15+ years! I only heard this from David Bose today....

Michael Savage Backs Jerry Brown
America's most fiery conservative talk show host backing liberal Jerry Brown for California's attorney general?
Yes, it's true.
Michael Savage, the nation's third-most-listened-to radio host (and fourth-most-influential host, according to NewsMax's Top 25 List), confirmed that he recently donated $5,600 – the maximum allowable – to Brown's campaign.
Brown won the Democratic Party nod and is facing Republican State Sen. Chuck Poochigian of Fresno, Calif.
"What can I say?" Savage told the San Francisco Chronicle. "I think he'd make a great attorney general compared to the other guy. By the way, who is the other guy?"
Republican Poochigian is currently a state senator and former assemblyman who has served 12 years in Sacramento.
"You have to make choices in an imperfect world," Savage said. "And this, this Machugian guy [sic]. I never heard of him. I don't even know who he is."
"Why bet on a horse that isn't going to win? Why throw your money into the garbage?"
Savage said he respects Brown's decision to start the Oakland military academy and his experience as a politician, regardless of his very liberal past.
Brown, who had the nickname "Governor Moonbeam," served as California's governor for two terms beginning in 1974. A former Democratic presidential candidate, he ran for mayor of Oakland, Calif., in 1998 and won.
"People change. He changed. He has experience," Savage told the Chronicle. ... "He's moved to the center, which is what this socialist state needs."
As for the conservative Poochigian's campaign, they are not so angry with the Savage defection, bragging that their candidate has the backing of Bo Derek.

You, David and Chaim were right from the beginning...I think most people (including me) started agreeing with you when he attacked Sarah Palin. I was starting to get suspicious but sometimes he seemed ok. If more people had heard him during the Lebanon War, he would have been exposed. I hope the word can get out to millions of others. Now that we know who he is, we shouldn't get angry at others who support him...they just need to get educated about him and they will see the truth.

He admitted that on a show a few weeks ago. He had some explanation for it, I forget what he said though. As much of a fraud as he may very well be.. he's still very informative and that's why I listen to him. I could care less about his own political beliefs.

Yes, he always brings this up on the show... that he did it because he liked Jerry's pro-millitary stances. And callers get annoyed by this as well. I personally find it sickening... as Jerry Brown is a proponent of the fairness doctrine, and is VERY self-hating.

The fact that Michael Savage gave Jerry Brown the maximum contribution allowed under the law is substantially worse than if he would have just voted for Jerry Brown. While the latter would have been a very questionable decision by itself, the extreme that Savage went to in supporting Brown is yet another example of him being a total phony. The damage that Savage has caused for people who are true Conservatives is enormous.

I do listen to him because I often have long drives and there is absolutely nothing else on the radio. I didn't know he admitted it though. He has done a lot of damage because millions of Americans listen to him and he may be making a mockery of them.

You're right...It's bad enough he votes for him but to give him money is evil.

Just listening to him for a period of time will tell you Michael the Savage is a fake phony fraud.
But very entertaining until you put down that pipe.
