Title: Please lift up in prayer my friend's sick puppy, Morgan.
Post by: Lewinsky Stinks, Dr. Brennan Rocks on March 10, 2009, 01:26:18 AM: All, please lift up to Hashem my friend Lisa (not our Lisa)'s sick Dalmatian puppy, Morgan. He was in fine health, but ate a toxic substance that is attacking his kidneys.

Is there any way you can encourage her to give him green tea? It's loaded with antioxidents, it could help some.

What does the VET SAY?

Does she need to take him to the EMERGENCY ROOM???

IT SOUNDS LIKE IT TO ME!!!!!

THEY CAN PUT HIM ON AN IV AND OTHER THINGS....

Having a pet that's ill can be extremely difficult. Though I no longer have any cats ( I never had any dogs ), I can certainly relate to what people are going through when their pet is sick.

I know how helpless you can feel when your pet is sick and/or injured.
I own dogs and when one of them is sick, I feel really bad.

Sometimes, your pets and bring you a calm comfort that you can not get from the people around you.

I hope and pray the puppy gets well soon.

Chocolate is toxic to animals in moderate quantities (theobromine, the active ingredient in it, is a potent stimulant their bodies cannot metabolize out), but it is an "all or nothing" poison (like poison hemlock) and if it does not kill them, they have no lasting organ effects.
