I remember when this Nazi was in Israel going through his first trial.

I wish that this will be the end of him, that he is found guilty, and dies in jail.

This guy has gotten away with his charade for far too long.

This is good news. Remember that the Nazi Pat Buchanan has defended Ivan Demjanjuk in the past.

I did not know that, but it is not surprising.

Demjanjuk was acquitted in the appeal due to reasonable doubt about his identity. He was charged for being the notorious "Ivan the Terrible" of Treblinka death camp but his defense managed to establish doubt that he is not the same person from Treblinka. By the time of his acquittal further evidence appeared to prove he was a guard in  several camps but he couldn't be trialled again (or so they say) due to double jeopardy. I don't see how it would be double jeopardy to trial him again for different charge (the same type of offense but against different victims and in different places).

In a sane world there wouldn't be a trial, just some ropes and a vat of boiling sulfuric acid.
