I just finished watching the movie "sunrise". It will not become my favourite movie, but it was sustentative. :::D

Just taking it easy and relaxing.
Wrapping a gift for my friend's young daughter birthday and taking care of a puppy I rescued on Thursday.
I hope that all our members had time to relax and recharge.

What, lawnmower?
It doesn't look like that one though, it is a push kind, you have to push it around.

Yes Hanna, I mean "Rasenmäher"="lawnmower".
Perhaps, you have bought something like this:

Lawn mowers like that are for people with a strong back and a weak mind. Push mowers like that are good for little kids with excess energy. Self propelled or ride on are the key words when shopping for a mower.

I think cjd it depends simply on the area, you have to work on.
For very small places is the push-mower, for middle areas is the lawn-mower and for big places like football fields or great gardens is the self propelled one.
Althrough, I know one guy who has a very small area to mow, but he has a self propelled too.

Yes exactly. Years ago when I was a kid the push ones with the grass catcher were what most people had. If they were adjusted well they were actually easy to push and they were also self sharpening. If you had a good one they made the lawn look very nice. The older ones had some bulk to them so you could really get some momentum going on a long stretch. I have a ride on for my lawn but I also have a gas powered push mower for the smaller sections. Most times I skip the ride on and just use the push one for the entire lawn it keeps me in great shape.
