Now there should be no doubt whatsoever that the press is completely in the tank for Obama.

Mind you, if there's another terrorist attack in the U.S. the press will still not blame Obama for it.  Instead, those slimy worms will blame it on President Bush ordering our mililtary to be "mean" to those poor, misunderstood, cute little cuddly terrorists.

Lisa,
You are right about the media being in the tank for Obama, but that has been evident from the moment he came on to the scene.

Now, Obama has been in office for about 105 day and until now everything he has done has been blamed on the previous Administration (Bush).
The question is how long can they keep it up?
After 1, 2, 3, or 4 years are they still going to say that Obama did whatever he had to do because of Bush.

My guess is that they will do just that.

I read a story where Obama went to visit the press room after he was elected, but before he was sworn in. When a reporter asked him a difficult question, he told the reporter that he was just there to greet the press. The reporter responded that he understood, and restated his question. Obama then repeated that he was only there to say hello, and that he would cease to drop by if they would continue to ambush him with questions.

Yonah,
Yes, this story was reported on both on t.v. and in the newspaper.

It's just another example of Obama's need to be in control of the media and the media's depiction of him.
It's just like his press conferences that he has now.
Prior to each conference a couple of reporters are chosen to submit questions approved by Obama and his team.
And, after Obama speaks, he asks reporters for questions, and that is when those couple of reporters are allowed to ask their pre- approved questions.

That is why all of Obama's news conferences are robotic and systematic with no real meat and potatoes reporting coming out of them.
