Title: Prop 8 Upheld in California Supreme Court!
Post by: Zionist Revolutionary on May 26, 2009, 01:19:28 PM
This is a great victory for us who believe marriage is sacred, but unfortunately the mock-marriages of same sex couples are still legal. Its a schizophrenic decision, and we will have to find a way to invalidate them in the future. But its so great to see the Supreme Court of California respect the will of the people, and Baruch HaShem for this victory!

Hallelukah!

When I woke up this morning I was thinking how outraged I'd have been if the will of the voters was overturned because of the will of the queers. Let us hope that more people see the reason why Marriage must remain a man/woman relationship.

Good!
I'm glad the broomsticks were pulled from under them queers.
How many times should the people have to tell these few homos "NO"? And a large many of them were negroes.

Wow!!!!  there is a TEENY bit of democracy still left.   Too bad the judges overturned already nearly every other right-of-center ballot initiative in California.

The broomsticks should be shoved up their clackers then carry them around like placards with slogans written on them, 'I Don't Support IMMORALITY'

I so really DETEST the way they try to manipulate our beliefs to suit their own twisted agendas  >:( ..

I am very happy about this.
For a change, the will of the people was taken into consideration.
And, that is a very important part of this issue.
The majority voted against same sex marriage on numerous occasions and won each time.
There was no reason for the court to go against the majority.

The gay community may not like it, but too bad, it is what it is.

I just don't want to see more moronic protests and marches all over Los Angeles by the outraged gay people and/or supporters.
The funny thing about their protests and marches, is those actions do not help their cause, but hinder it.

Why are they so bent on destroying families?
Hey, look, they're free to chain each other up in the privacy of their own homes.
But in public, please, put down the bloody broomstick.

20 years from now
"so called Conservative : MARRIAGE SHOULD ONLY BE BETWEEN TWO HUMAN BEINGS"

Liberal:" marriage should be between two living things"

I voted against same sex marrige twice. The first time the Judges ruled it was unconstitutional and the gays flocked to the court houses by the hundreds to get married. The second time around the Judges dared not to overturn what the people voted for. So relieved to know my vote counted this time.
