This is not good, Netanyahu is about to seriously strain Serbia-Israel relations with this move.

Just saw this too. I posted it in General Discussion because I think it's pretty important. This is not only going to strain Serbian-Israeli relations but this could also potentially have a significant impact on the Israeli-Palestine conflict.

(Kraj)

Israel will not shange its position on Kosovo and WILL NOT recognise it.
16:50 TEL AVIV, 22 june (Tanjug) - Israel did not changed its position concerning unilateral proclamed independence of Kosovo and will not recognise Kosovo, as it has been speculated by some Israely media. PR of Israely governement Jigal Palmor has today denied media reports that Israely prime minister Benjamin Netanjahu is ready to change his position on Kosovo independance.

Thank G..d

There's a quote from the Kosovo Times: (Kosovo Times - what a name - :::D)

http://www.kosovotimes.net/flash-news/597-more-on-the-hoax-news-on-israel-and-kosovo.html

June 22 (Kosovo Times) - Yigal Palmor, spokesman of the Israeli Government, told EXPRESS via telephone, that the PALLUXO report is false.
“The Prime Minister of Israel did not give such statements”, Palmor said.

PALLUXO reported that “Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Saturday his cabinet is readying to recognize the independence of Kosovo in August. His decision comes as a result of recent negotiations with the President Barack Obama”.
On this spokesman Palmor comments: “Prime Minister of Israel never makes political statements on a Saturday. Only if there is an emergency he can comment but he will do so only in the evening”.

Palmor commented on  the false report itself saying that “There will always be speculations like this launched by people with certain agendas to push the international media into a cycle of rumors and thus create debates and see where that would lead to. Hoaxes like this one are common in the international media not just on Kosovo and not just on Israel”.
On the subject of Israel recognizing Kosovo, Palmor said: “There is no change on the position of Israel. When there is a change or we have something to announce we are going to do that”.

Skender Hyseni, Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, who yesterday refused to comment on the PALLUXO reporting said that he “respects  the positions of each sovereign country and in the same time welcomes any new recognition”.

So guys take it easy. Israel hasn't given in this time.

But nevertheless, this peace of toxic propaganda about "Serbia nazi past" is pure poison, and it has been spilled in Knesset. What is the reason for this? Is it possible that this could pass as a rational argument in such high level?

Probably it is simply not true like all that article.

But if these words were indeed told by a Knesset member, they may refer to:

1) Wrong understanding of the situation in Serbia during World War 2. In fact, German Nazis occupied Serbia and controlled the situation there, so they were responsible of all the crimes that they might have been committed in the name of Serbian people

2) Balkan wars and conflicts in the 1990-ies, when Serbia was viewed by world media as the oppressor of Croats, Slovenians, Muslims etc.

Actually, people in Israel know very little about Serbia . That MK might have been influenced by Muslim or Croat propaganda that is widely accepted as the truth in the West.

Those were NOT Balkan wars, but Yugoslav wars.
Many anti-Serbs want to pass them as ''Balkan wars'' so it'll sound stronger and so it'll sound as Serbia ''attacked sovereign Balkan nations'', while they were all break-away regions. This is why they prefer to say the Balkans.
There were only two Balkan wars, 1912 and 1913.

The only reason politicians say anything is because they've been paid to. When someone says "Serbia's NAZI PAST", they're one of two things.

1. Suffering from severe mental retardation, or

2. Being paid to do it.

I say option 2, with a little bit of influence from option 1. Slipping these little phrases in to associate Serbia with evil has been a staple of western media for YEARS, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone slipped some reporters a few dollars here and there to say that.

The world hates us because we stood up for our lives and didn't bend over to take the proverbial d__k of NATO and its collaborators.
