Title: I have made a video during my lunch break at the "Eternal Sea"
Post by: Ulli on July 15, 2009, 10:58:40 AM: The Ewiges Meer is the greatest continental raised bog lake in Germany. Great landscape. I commentet the video a little bit. Please enjoy.

The soil is very soft. I tried, because I was curious to step from the wodden path down. I sunk in immedialty. But I was smart an left my other foot on the path. :::D

I think they didn't fit in the landscape. But if they are helping us to come away from oil, I will tolerate it. But not wholehearthy. ;D

Also when you ask do you hear the water i think I hear a humming noise like a mosquito or maybe a dragonfly.

It is nearly fresh water. But not totally. It is bog water http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bog

It is brown and a little bit acid. There are nearly no nutrients in it.

There were thousands of dragonflies. At a place I was surrounded by them. But they didn't bite me. But I think they liked moskitoes, so althrough the whole place was very wet I noticed none.

I don't know exactly because I took only one step. But after I stepped on the soil my feet start to sink imeadeltly. No joke.
