Well, my cockatiel who's been alive for 14 years looks like he's on his last leg. Brother has been holding him and he looks like he's close to his last breath, very weak and just not doing well at all. Paid 100 bucks for a doctor visit, they gave us some medication but I don't think it's going to do much :(
He's been a member of the family for a long time now and I'd be sad to see him die, I hope he can at least live a little longer. :'(

Shalom White Israelite,
I hope your bird does not suffer... This is a difficult time and I almost lost a cat last month... Luckily for me I was able to save this cat {who is only 6 years old}... Your pet will be missed...

Here's some pictures of him

he's the smaller bird on the left.

He could whistle andy griffith (mother taught him that), he could sing some other stuff, he did talk slightly, he could say "sunny good boy" and could dance.

I'm really sad that this happened to you. I know it hurts, especially when you've had a pet for that long.
Love your other little bird as much as you can.

Sorry about your loss, I also lost a pet bird last week. :'( :(

He is sweet and he looks like you. :'( I'm sorry.

That's actually my brother. He's taking it the hardest, he's a bit of a loner and doesn't have many friends, so the birds kept him company. He's pretty depressed over it.

Wow, he could whistle the tune for the Andy Griffin show...that is amazing!
I had a cockatail 25 years ago. Polly would walk back and forth bopping his head up and down whistling to the tune of Yankee Doodle in front of the mantle mirror. Everyone got a kick out of watching him. Cockatails are very talented birds and make great companions.
Thanks for posting his picture up, he was a beautiful bird. he reminded me of my Polly bird. Polly was also a male ( bright yellow)
I hope as time goes by you consider getting another bird, you would give it a wonderful home and companionship.
I know you miss your bird very much, again I am sorry.
