A WOMAN is soon to deliver a record-breaking 12 BABIES, it was claimed today.
The teacher is expecting six boys and six girls, according to reports.
She conceived the tots following fertility treatment, after suffering a number of miscarriages.
British fertility experts confirmed the extraordinary pregnancy in Gafsa, Tunisia, was possible - but carried "colossal" risks.
The mum - who has not yet been named - reportedly told doctors she was "feeling fine and looking forward to hugging her six boys and six girls".
She is said to be in 'good health' but subject to constant medical monitoring.
The father, named in local reports only as Marwan, said: "In the beginning, we thought that my wife would give birth to twins, but more foetuses were discovered. Our joy increased with the growing number."
He claimed she wanted to give birth naturally, but medical experts claimed this would be impossible.
The Tunisian health and social ministries have said they will offer various forms of assistance to the family.
Dr Mark Hamilton, of the British Fertility Society, said: "Twelve babies seems extraordinary.
"The woman could have been receiving ovulation induction treatment, which stimulates egg production. You don't have the same control as with IVF."
In January Nadya Suleman of California, US, stunned the world by delivering eight healthy tots.
And in May, Nuala Conway, 26, from Dunamore in Co Tyrone, gave birth to sextuplets - four girls and two boys. One of the girls died in July.

Is this even biologically possible? :o
-
There's no way that they will survive!
-
There will probably be a special presidential order from Ombongo, who'll have the mother and her 12 sprogs airlifted into the U.S. at taxpayer expense.

Yes it is...for a cat.
-
Viperidae eggies?? OR piggies???
-
Not all of them will survive unless God performs a true miracle to save them. There's not enough room in the womb There's no excuse for a doctor to implant that many embryos at one time into a woman. They will have to be delivered early by C section and have intense medical treatment, and maybe some of them will survive. Some of them will undoubtedly have life long medical issues even among those who survive, if any do.

Wow... omg
-
European women can take an example of this woman from Tunisia.

Yes it is...for at cat.
Cats usually only have 5 babies and even at that, one or two of them will be runty because others got more nutrition.

True but it is biologically possible. I believe the record for a cat is 14(?) with all of them surviving.

I know you did not mean it this way but sprog is a term generally used by the childfree movement. They may not have invented it but they pretty much have taken it over, much like fags have with the word "gay".

I don't believe it. The paper is not a reputable one.
-
True, Muslim Nazi rags are not exactly reputable.
-
Some kind of inbreed mutation for multiple numbers of offspring per birth is occurring in to them. May be some virus material of rat flue could have permeated through their genetic walls.

I didn't know that. I encountered the term sprog long ago, reading some fantasy novel I think it was.

This site says Decaplets are the highest birth order ever actually born.
It doesn't say if any survived or how many may have been stillborn.
