Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen said Thursday that "the determined and professional activities of the police are what allowed the units investigating the recent murders to establish an evidential foundation that led to the arrest of suspects."
At the end of a discussion and press briefing on the partial lift of the gag order in the dismembered bodies case, the police commissioner said, "The police will not rest until the criminals are found and brought to justice."

Tel Aviv Police received a report on Sunday from 61-year-old Beatrice Rodov's employer, Afcon, that the woman, who worked at the company as a senior accountant, had failed to show up for work. This was a significant lead for cracking the double murder case of Beatrice and her 35-year-old daughter Denise.
At Afcon, fellow employees said of Beatrice that she was always smiling and liked helping those around her. Meir Ohana, who worked with Beatrice in the past, said, "She was such a good person, always helping and smiling. She never fought with anyone; she just came and did her work."
Ohana was asked if he had ever met her boyfriend, Eli Fahima, 59, who is currently the prime murder suspect. "I never saw him. She did not talk about her personal life. She came to work, and as a colleague, I met her and spoke with her a lot, but not about personal life. It turns out that one can never know what someone is hiding. I was horrified to hear that she was missing and then that she was the one who was murdered," said Ohana.
Beatrice Ohana was employed at the company for about 10 years. The company's employees and managers expressed their shock and pain at the incident. Within the company, her fellow employees said that for many years she served as an example to everyone in her dedication, professionalism, and loyalty to the company.
"No doubt she will be very missed by all of us," they said.

Eli Fahima, the main murder suspect, was the long-time boyfriend of Beatrice, whose dismembered body was found burning in a garbage bin in Ramat Gan last Tuesday. A day later, the remains of a foot were found in Alexander Stream National Park. The day after that, a second body, also dismembered, was found in Alexander Stream.
Investigators understood that there two incidents were connected. Because of a gag order placed on the two cases, the connection between the two could not be reported to the public. The police, who had yet to identify the bodies, called citizens to report anyone they believed to be missing.
