I met Ben and Jerry before their ice cream became famous. They were actually giving away free ice cream from a truck in Venice Beach, California to publicize their product. This was way back in the early 1980's.

Back in those days, 'premium' ice creams were somewhat of a novelty, and Haagen-Daz pretty much had the market dominated.

Ben and Jerry's ice cream actually is pretty good and they make a nice variety of interesting flavors. However, they are a bunch of leftist nitwits, and therefore should not be supported by purchasing their product.

I recently saw a story about Ben and Jerry resuming ice cream sales in Israel posted on Arutz Sheva. I'm not sure if they had stores or sold ice cream in Israel previously, and stopped doing business there as some sort of protest or political statement, but nothing these leftist activists do would surprise me.

I never buy there ice cream.  Ironically if it wasn't for capitalism, they wouldn't have a business.

YUMMY, ABSOLUTELY!  YES IT IS!!!! The BEST retail ice cream anywhere!
